Ordered pizzas as per usual via the online portal. For some reason was quoted a long wait (90 minutes) figured it was Friday night so it could be busy. Waited 90 minutes my order did not update at all. Called checked the time the robot said will be ready in minutes. Was not sure what that could mean so I clicked the option to talk to the manager. Asked the manager when my pizza would be ready and she told me it was ready for more then an hour. I asked how come the order had not been updated. She informed me that she was the district manager and the online ordering was “not her problem”. She was unapologetic and rude. I had been ordering from here for years. Sure sometimes they mess up my order but they where always professional. Never had an experience like this from upper management, will never be giving my business to papa John’s again. Would recommend you never order from this establishment.

The lady was nice and friendly at the drive thru window and the Pizza was nice and hot , well topped with chicken .. the best papa johns around !! They also collaborate with the Spartanburg animal shelter which is how we got a free pizza and found this gem. Keep up the good work you’ve gained returning customers 🙂

This incident happened on Tuesday January 11, 2022 @1700h. This occurred at Store#1822. My wife (brand new customer to this location) had the rudest experience from this location today. They went up there to get some food. They made the pizza and skimped on the toppings. After she paid for the pizza she looked at it, and was disappointed with the quantity of bacon on the pizza. She asked to speak to the manager (The individual was Caucasian and did not want to disclose his name.) There were two managers present and neither one wanted to approach the counter. They were trying to tell the cashier to relay the message. Then my wife stated “No, I would like to speak to the manager.” The manager then came over to the counter and became belligerent, rude, and uncouth and spoke to my wife in a very foul tone. He raised his voice stating that there was enough bacon on the pizza and my wife said no it’s not and he repeatedly ordered the cashier to give her a refund. She had to request a refund receipt from the cashier because it was not voluntarily given. My wife asked to reorder and she was told NO by the manager as he continued to tell the cashier to give her a refund. I’m pleased to announce the Most uncouth business in South Carolina. Stay clear of this establishment. They’re definitely not getting any recommendations. I’M REPORTING THIS TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, AND THE CHANNEL 7 NEWS. THE WHOLE WORLD WILL KNOW ABOUT PAPA JOHN’S STORE #1822. I PROMISE YOU THAT!!

The lady I talked with and placed my order could not speak English. She gave them a foreign name when I went to the store to pick up my order 45 minutes later because she said it would be 30 to 40 minutes they hadn’t even cooked it yet so I went ahead and paid and got in the back of the line then they didn’t have my order right they did not give me the cheese sticks when I asked for cheese sticks they said it wasn’t on the order so I asked why is my price say it is I didn’t want to argue so I let them keep the $7 extra beware I will not go back

Ordered an extra large, garlic parmesan crust with Italian sausage (extra sausage), bacon, onion, and black olive. This is what I got. Called to complain, and was told this is what I ordered. The gentleman I talked to also said that by ordering the garlic parmesan crust, it automatically changed the pizza to a large, and that was the fault of the app, as if this knowledge was known amongst all it’s customers.

Can’t walk in the door, can only use drive through. Refused to take order in drive through. Said we had to call it in. So we sat in the parking lot and called. We got an overseas call center, we couldn’t understand them, they couldn’t understand us. Finally got the order in, took longer to place the order than for them to cook the pizza. All could have been avoided if they had just taken the order instead of turning us away. Not sure I understand the logic of making it difficult for customers to purchase their product.
