When we came, it wasn’t busy. It was my first time trying this place too. The pizza was good but I forgot that I am not a fan of green pepper bell I also appreciate that their to-go container has a place for a sauce container.

I love Papa Johns and I normally have a good experience at this location, but the last time I tried to place an order, the wait time was just too long so, I canceled. I’d used the app and it said it would be about 25-30minutes. I got there about 20minutes later and found out that my food hadn’t even been made yet. I know they’re short staffed so, I try to be understanding, but it would be nice it the online ordering system gave a more accurate wait time.

I get being short staffed, but when you arrive when your pizza should be ready, they haven’t made it yet, and they tell you it’s still 45 mins, that’s unacceptable. What’s more unacceptable is the staff very clearly taking their time. You can see them making the pizzas… And they’re chit chatting and sauntering about with zero urgency even though they’re behind. I can see the list of orders yet to be made and they’re taking long breaks in between. Almost everyone who has come in to pick up their pizza has been told its still a long wait. I ordered ahead for a reason. We’re travelling far and have little time to stop. Also not a single person wearing gloves or hair nets. Gross, there’s a pandemic. Not ok.

While it took over 3 hours after ordering to get our pizza’s, they were so good that I called the store to compliment them. I was then told that they only had 1 delivery driver on the weekends and he was two hours late. I appreciate them putting out a quality product and being able to deliver even if they are running behind. Thank you Papa John’s!
