Ordered from this location many times and more recently the employees have become less and less friendly. Once waited 10 minutes to pick up my order while one employee was just standing and looking at the ready orders the whole time. Most recent order the pizza was stuck to the tray and instead or remaking or taking off the tray they just put the pizza in the box with the tray. The only thing I like about Papa John’s is the cost which I guess you get what you pay for.

Very unpleasant with my food. The pizza was just thrown together not cut into slices. I received a half “ bite pepper”. That had to be old or possible on the ground bc it had hard sauce on the skin of the pepper with no actual pepper inside. I then all the location and was hung up on by the employee. I then arrive at the location and the employee did not want to the open the door, I then was able to go inside speak with the employee. She told me I was not able to receive my money bag because “door dash picked up the pizza”. However or whoever pickup the pizza the Smyrna location is still responsible for the quality and quantity of the food. I spoke with a manger and then was told I only able to get store credit only. NEVER ORDERED AGAIN from here

Quality has gone downhill. Ordered their “new” NY STYLE pizza; It should have been very thin crust (soft, not crispy thin) with toppings almost to the very edge… not only was the under crust almost half an inch thick, but toppings left over 1.5 inches of plain crust. It was basically their normal pizza… but somehow it had a thicker than normal undercrust & much wider than normal edge crust. Honestly my “NY Style” pizza was 85% BREAD. Whoever made my pizza either wasn’t trained how to make the promo pizza or just didn’t care. I ordered carry-out & by the time I got home they were closed. The young lady working was very nice & polite… I just wish I had checked more thoroughly before I left, but normally I don’t have to check Papa John’s because they typically take pride in getting orders correct. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

I ordered on 6/7/23 in what I thought would be a perfect pizza and wound up getting a burnt pizza with missing toppings. I ordered the pizza for delivery. When I called to explain what had happened, I was only approached with attitude. The lady who answered the phone said she could give me a refund. When I asked if they could just prepare another one, she said in a rude condescending manner “Look it’s only two of us working today and we have been swamped all day!” No apology or nothing. When I asked if I would receive acknowledgment of my receipt, she proceeded to say “You can come to the store and pick it up!” What in the world happened to customer service. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and she said she was the store owner. She sounded like a teenager and I am pretty sure she was not the owner, speaking to customers like that. She said her name was Kelsey. Avoid this place at all costs. I will make sure that their corporate office hears about this.

Horrible service! I placed my order at 9:19, an order of jalapeno poppers and a large philly cheese steak pizza. At 10:35 I have still not received it so I called to see if the order was on its way, they said the driver was walking out the door. This location is so close it would be a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. He showed up at 11:00, the poppers were burnt with no sauce(I requested spicy garlic) and the pizza was ice cold, and has almost no meat. I will never EVER patronize this location EVER again!! I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order, I would have gone to Domino’s and I just placed an order with them, this food is inedible. A waste of my time and money with Papa John.

Worst service ever. Be more truthful with customers. I ordered an online order and received a notification saying it was ready. I waited an additional 10min before going into the store to pick up order. After paying, they continued to look for the order and then told me “the order was still in the oven” and will take an extra 5min. After getting home, I noticed the cheese was sloppy and dough wasn’t all the way cooked. Obviously rushed the order. The pizza wasn’t cut in slices properly, we had to tear it apart! The pizza was supposed to be Italian sausage but I couldn’t find the sausage! There was no hot peppers nor Parmesan cheese with the pizza.

I had ordered the cheese bread and the Italian papadoe, the cheese bread was burnt on the bottom and cold. The papadoe was ok, getting cold. The website said about 30 min to deliver and it took an hour. I will not be ordering from again, the past three times I’ve ordered it’s not hot or delivery was 30 min late.
