A few weeks ago I made an order over the phone and when I got there the manager advised my coupon wouldn’t be taken, no specific verbiage on the coupon advised it had to be an online order. Well after I tried to “make it right” and order my pizza online (mind you my pizza is sitting there… done) he wouldn’t adjust the order to honor the coupon because he didn’t “ have access” he cancelled my online order. I asked him for help, instead he ripped my name off of the pizza box and the ***MANAGER*** ATE MY PIZZA IN FRONT OF ME !!! Him and the staff all had a good ol laugh. This was extremely annoying when I found out the staff gives their friends free pizza all the time, I wasn’t asking for FREE pizza just for the coupon to be honored. I obviously won’t be back, worst experience.

I pretty much never complain about bad experiences, but I had to this time. You’ll notice several bad reviews specifically mentioning the general manager, Ryan, for a reason. Our order was canceled without warning. When we called to ask about it, the lady (who was fine), said her general manager had tried calling us. She put me on hold and my girlfriend immediately gets a call from Ryan, again the GM. He claims he tried calling us twice and the line was “disconnected”, which was an obvious excuse. He then had the nerve to be rude over the phone and blame everything except himself. I wouldn’t have cared if he had just admitted the mistake. Trust me and the others here and take your business to different nearby places as long as he’s there.

Ok so I have been a customer for years. I ordered they brought me the wrong pizza. Someone else order. I called back and spoke with the general manager who says ok I’ll call the driver. 10 minutes later I get a knock at the door and it’s the pizza I ordered. So I called back because my family who didn’t know what I ordered opened the pizza and was ready to eat until I stop them. The General manager answered the phone and proceeded to tell me that he was remaking the food I had gotten by mistake but I had to keep my food. Now I felt that my food should have been remade because I have no idea if someone had my food or not also. Sorry but once you give me the wrong order it’s not unreasonable to feel you did the same with my food. Also the seals were not on the pizza. I order 2x a month for years recently slowed down. I asked the general manager if the situation was resolved to him and he stated yes. He felt as if I got my food so I should be happy and fine. I wasn’t and he offered no accommodation for my troubles and was extremely rude to the point he hung up on me. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. I AM OBVIOUSLY NOT APPRECIATED AS A CUSTOMER AND I WORK HARD FOR MY MONEY. So if I order $40 I would like someone who needs and appreciates it. There are several pizza places here so it’s no problem.

Immediately, when I got there, I felt like I was a burden the larger woman in the front at the cash register made me feel that way after returning to receive my pizza, I asked for extra pepper, Cheaneys. She then proceeded to ask the back for pepper Cheaneys, opening out, her hand, uncovered and unwashed pepper. Cheaneys were placed in her hand and she placed them in my box. Disgusting.

This restaurant has gone downhill tremendously in the past 6 months last three orders I have placed with them have been wrong including the replacement order being wrong then refuse to refund my money when spoke to manager Brandon. He is extremely rude not willing to listen to a customer wants to keep trying to talk over me instead of letting me finish telling him what my problem is definitely will not be returning to this Papa John’s and would not recommend anybody else go there

Bad customer service. I ordered a mushroom pizza.. because my family is vegetarian and wanted a quick dinner. When I get my pizza and it was mushroom with half ham. If we were not vegetarians it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. I’m frustrated because it’s almost 8pm and I haven’t had dinner, because the best they could do is refund the money. While on the phone with an employee I could hear other employees cussing at us in the background. I’m very disappointed this evening not getting to eat my pizza I’ve been craving. This is the cherry on top of a bad day sundae.

I rarely leave reviews but feel compelled to do so for this location. I had the misfortune of having a lunch order cancelled last minute by a nearby Papa Johns. The order was to celebrate National Anesthesia Technician Week at Mayo Clinic. With less than 30 minutes to spare, I decided to call the Atlantic Beach location to see if they could rush this order. I was so lucky that Kelsey was working that day. She SAVED THE DAY. Once I arrived, the order was already under way. She could tell I was stressed by the last minute cancellation. She provided me with drinks and assured me the order would be ready in time. She pulled it off and completed this order in less than 30 minutes. She is an absolute GEM and Papa Johns is so fortunate to have her as an employee. She takes pride in her work when ownership and accountability is difficult to come by these days. She even followed up with a voicemail to verify everyone was pleased with the order. I cannot say enough about Kelsey and this location.

Order was taken over the phone, charged my card 4 times for the same order. When I arrived to pick up the pizza they had no record of the order so I had to reorder and pay for the 5th time I was told the other 4 charges would drop off within 24 hours. Overall bad experience
