Do not and I repeat DO NOT order the XL New Yorker from papa John’s. False advertising. Its just a Large Pizza in an extra large box. There is nothing large about the slices, just normal slices of pizza in an extra large box. The cheese was non existing and they didnt bother with sauce and was extremely dry. Pizza Hut is much better with their New Yorker. They do have the HUGE slices. Papa John’s this is unacceptable and disappointing.

We ordered 2 large pizzas & cheesesticks tonight for delivery, it said 45-55 mins, it was here within 30 mins & very hot & fresh, much better than last time! Thank you I am alittle upset yall took all the good specials away so we can save $ though ☹️

I’m not sure exactly what is going on with this location but over the last couple of years consistency has gone down. Many years ago I used to work for this location and several others in another city. I have done everything in a pizza place there is to do including delivery, I’m just tired of getting poorly constructed pizzas with little or no meat for $25-30 a pop. Ever time we order lately PRICE is up QUALITY is down. Guess that’s the gig now with inflation and all- I expect quality when I pay more for a pizza. Last night I ate 4 pieces and literally I had 4 peices of pepperoni and a few mushrooms under mostly cheese when it should have been 2-3 pieces per slice.

We’ve been pleased with the pizza until the last 2 all meat pizzas were way over cooked dry and just plain nasty. I guess We’ll have to try somewhere different from now on. Disappointed to say the least.

Was great for “fast food” pizza. Waited and saw that workers seemed to care about product. Felt more like higher end pizzaria place. Will definitely go back when in area again.

Turns out the papa bowl mistake was on my end not the store. I ordered again and doubled up on everything and this bowl is basically full. The food was awesome I still love papa johns.

The pizza was delicious and cooked to order the way I wanted it. It was more expensive than other places around, but the food was delicious so I’d rather pay more for what I expect than less for food that isn’t so good or just thrown together. Well done Papa Johns!

Papa johns used to be a great place in Athens as well !! Idk what’s going on in athens al but these restaurants are losing it , can’t go anywhere in athens hardly anymore and get fresh good food !!!! Firehouse is about the only place !! It’s 12 in the afternoon and the pizza I got was overdone and the cheesestix were burnt on The bottom people get in too big of a hurry now days and don’t care !!

I placed an order for my pizza at what I thought was this store. Turns out, I accidentally sent it to a different location. I had to call and cancel the order at the other store and received a full refund, then place a new order at the correct location. The man at the counter gave me 50% off my order for the trouble even though it was my fault. This is a great representation of how this store does business. It’s the little things that mean so much. Thank you for great service!
