Tonight our pizza sat on the counter for over 20 minutes after I was told it was still being made. This is the second time at this store my order was done and sat on the counter for a long time. Tonight I waited an hour at the Sparta store. They didn’t check the pizza of our order and we received the wrong pizza. I understand sometimes things guy busy but how hard is it to check the orders sitting and waiting to be picked up.

Came to pick up pizza. Man outside talking on his phone. Went inside and they had forgotten my extra peppers. Girl didn’t know what container to put them in. Man came inside that had been talking on phone outside. He worked there. He stood there and stuck his hand up under his shirt scratching his back and went and got my peppers without washing his hands. I don’t want somebody scratching there dirty back and then touching my food with their dirty hands. Got the pizza home and it was terrible. I am never ordering from Sparta Papa Johns again. Disgusting.

Delicious and fast. Pizza only took around 20 minutes and the stuffed crust is better than PH. The staff is very friendly and the prices are good too. Parking is a bit of a pain, but worth it.

A few weeks ago, I went to this location and we will just say the product wasn’t what I expect from this franchise. I noted that on the online survey and was called from the store. Very friendly and offered to give me a store credit for my next visit. So knowing everyone can have a bad day, I thought I would give them another chance. I went into the store and they did honor the offer, however, It took almost 1 hour for them to make a medium pizza and order of cheese sticks. At least this time it tasted great, but the fact that they only had 1 person working the store and 1 driver on a Friday afternoon doesn’t speak well. I will say that 4 people showed up (guess they were called in) and after they arrived the order was completed in 10 minutes.

So I know some places can’t control what is available on the app. With that said being someone who worked at restaurant who has an app when we didn’t have control, we made sure to contact the person and informed them. That didn’t happen. When I picked up my order yesterday, 2/8/23. I was told they didn’t have any 2lt that I ordered. Was told my account would be created by the next day. I wasn’t and never got my 4 2lts.

I ordered a chicken Alfredo pizza on 12/30 and it was literally the worst 15 dollars I ever spent. It had no cheese, sauce or toppings on 2 slices.(see Pic) There was a total of 3 small pieces of chicken on the rest.The dough was undercooked. Tomatoes mostly in one area. I know they are new but there is absolutely no reason for a pizza to be made this bad. I haven’t eaten at Poppa John’s in a while and this happens. Also was told on the phone it was 12 dollars and ended up being over 15. I saw one person wearing a mask(under his nose) and that was it. The staff seemed nice enough and I even left a tip.(mistake on my part) I am surely disappointed and not sure if I’ll even give them another chance in the future.Iended up throwing most of it of it away because it was so bad.Hopefully they’ll get it right for future customers.I called and was told a manager was not available so I left my number and of course no return call.

Ordered vegetable bowl and cheese bread sticks. Everything tasted good but the bowl looked nothing like advertised, there was only about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ingredients in the bowl, not even half full. There was only one employee working as the other one didn’t show up. He was doing the best he could to keep up with orders at lunch but it took over an hour even after calling it in.

Bread sticks were the only highlight to the meal, pizza was bland thrown together, I’ve had better pizza from a gas station. They stared off being pretty good then quality went way down hill. Only reason for 2 stars is because the employees were a pleasure to talk to, at least “front of house”.
