Placed a order online for delivery and when it didn’t arrive, over an hour later, I called and they said it was for pick up. I told the manager, why would I tip if it was for pick up? He said for the people making the food to make more money. Then said he could send it out but would be a extra 45mins and $5 more. I just canceled my order because at that point my food would be ice cold. Then the manager laughed at me. Was told it would be back on my card in 22 days and hung up on. Very unprofessional and rude.

Called and placed order for delivery; courteous staffer took order (1 large pepperoni) and said it would be delivered in 24-34 minutes. After a 1 hour wait we called, very difficult to get a person. Tried calling 2 more times, when we finally got a staffer, she said it was out for delivery. We asked if it was being delivered by one of their drivers or a contracted delivery company and they transferred us and nobody answered. We finally got the pizza, it took 70 minutes from our order to delivery and the pizza was cold, very cold. I realize it’s very difficult for many businesses to get help during these times; and I’m patient because of it; however, they should not commit to a delivery time and if using a contracted delivery, use one that can keep the product hot.

When I checked my pizza, part of the toppings were missing and the original person tried to argue with me. Then the person making the pizzas came over and offered to make me a new one. Hence the 5 stars. Maybe the cashiers should be trained in manners and customer service.

Owner acts disgraceful.. Placed web order at 6 for pickup. At 630 the SINGLE employee in store had not started order. Owner charles burris calls to place personal order. I was next to phone and could hear him say make his order a priority over other customers. I asked server if mine was even in yet. I was told he would be working on mine but owner required priority or he would get fired. Clearly short-handed offering $11 when many others here are offering $15. A store that is only “owned to make pizzas for owner” is a company disgrace

My complaint is NOT with Papa Johns! It’s with Door dash! I left a big tip in an envelope on my door… asked them please DO NOT ring the doorbell !!! Just leave on porch. They rang doorbell 3x and woke up my baby! Dear DoorDash.. if your drivers cannot read English, don’t send them

Horrible!! Ordered for delivery; it was my father’s birthday. Pizza’s never showed up. I called and, rather than accepting responsibility, the manager said, “You must have made a mistake.” I printed out the order when I placed it; showed that it was for delivery. He said it was for pick up. Manager was very rude. I ordered from Classic Pizza right away and they did a great job, as usual. I learned my lesson. Avoid Papa John’s 760 N State St ..

Ordered pizza for delivery. As we spoke to the manager, we asked him to tell the driver to call if he couldn’t find our house or if he had any issues. An hour and a half later without pizza… we gave them another call. The manager explained how the driver knocked on our door, called us and proceeded to leave. No. That did not happen. We never received a call and our driveway alarm never went off! We explained this to the manager and he called us liars. What kind of representation of the company is that?? I was blown away by this kind of management. We took our business to Classics and were not disappointed.
