I ordered 2 large pizzas. One was pepperoni / sausage & the other one was the chicken specialty pizza. They charged me more than $50 before the tip. Not to mention they did not want to deliver to my friends address. My friend had got permission for their home to be added to the delivery list because literally their next door neighbor gets delivered to. The guy who took the order did not want to deliver the pizzas and was not very friendly or professional. I can oder twice the amount of food from Domino’s for that price with way better customer service! When I called to question the price the person I talked to said he was the manager and the price was right. He said there was nothing he could do. I believe it was the same guy….. This was the 2nd encounter that was not friendly or professional. I will never give them my business again. Our friends feel the same way. I will also spread the word about my experience. I feel they truly did not care at all. Very disheartened and let down. This was the Monticello, MN location. Would not recommend! : (

Ordered the garlic knots. Can’t understand why they wouldn’t line their box with aluminum foil? All the melted butter was on the bottom of box and leaked right thru the cardboard. Glad it was sitting on top of the pizza box. The pizza tasted good but the crust was soggy and under cooked..

Our car broke down while we were ordering pizza at this Papa John’s. We ended up stranded out front in the parking lot for a couple of days, but the staff here was so friendly and helpful. They helped us locate an auto parts store and mechanic and watch over our car until we could get it towed and even provided coloring materials to keep our kids busy while we waited. Not only was the pizza really good, but the service was phenomenal!

If I could give them zero stars, I would. After being incredibly disappointed after they first opened (3 hours for soggy pizza), I decided to give them another try hoping they got in the groove of things. 15 minutes after my pizza was supposed to be delivered, they called to say they were out of one of the toppings I had ordered. When asked how long it would be for the rest of the order he said it’d be another 20 minutes. Now my whole family is hungry and we will continue to go to the many other pizza options around Monticello.
