Last time I’m ordering from Papa. Ordered a large pizza with extra pepperoni and sausage. What I received was a pizza light on both toppings and LITERALLY no pizza sauce. I pretty much ordered bread sticks with toppings. Papa has gone done hill big time. Dominos and Pizza Hut, you just gained a customer!

Condescending and rude over the phone. Placed an online order for delivery at 1045a and they called with a grumpy attitude to let me know that 20 pizzas couldn’t be ready until mid-afternoon. Multiple times, the caller told me that I didn’t “give enough notice.” Stated that they require 45 minutes notice for anything over 4 items ordered and since I ordered 20 items, they need several hours notice plus the cook and delivery time.

On May 22, 2023, I pre- ordered 8 Large pizza 3 days early for a pizza party celebrating our wonderful nursing staff that care for our elderly population. At 2:44pm on 05/25/23 I began to worry because I could not track my delivery and it had not arrived. I contacted the local store, and they told me they had no record of the order. He then proceeded to give me the customer service number, where I spoke to Chris, who saw the order and stated that it is still being processed but booked. He told me he would need to investigate but would call me back with additional information. Chris called back about 10 minutes later to inform me that it was my bank that canceled the order. I was in banking for 10 years and have 25 years of experience from ordering online; therefore, anytime that a card is declined you are provided with an immediate decline of the purchase. Never has an order been placed and confirmation email sent for an order that had a declined card. On top of that, no one ever called, emailed, or texted me that my order was cancelled. Chris was very apologetic; however, no accountability was taken by Papa Johns nor was a solution provided. The situation left me appearing unprepared in front our nursing staff and more so I had to scramble last minute to find a solution so that the nursing team did not feel slighted. Dominoes; however, brought their A game and were able to make 8 pizzas in 20 minutes and had it ready for pickup so we could still have our pizza party. Papa Johns never even offered to fix the problem. I am truly dissatisfied with the service, lack of empathy, and lack of accountability displayed by Papa Johns. Furthermore, our facilities will never do business with Papa Johns in the future and I hope this will be a lesson in communication, customer service, and solution focused leadership going forward for Papa Johns. You have indeed lost a valuable customer.

I order pizza for our lunch came in timely manner and one pizza was correct and the other was charged $3 for mushrooms and didn’t get them on second pizza. I tried calling the store to speak with manager and they just let the phone ring. Not impressed with the service!

If I could give zero stars I would. Last night we ordered a large pizza and cinnamon pull aparts for delivery. A couple minutes after our order had been placed we received an email saying that our order had been cancelled. We decided to call the store and was hung up on so we called again. The male that answered the phone informed us that they could not fulfill the order due to having no delivery drivers, told us that one went home sick and the other called in. We said that that was fine and we would just pick the order up at the store and the employee very rudely said okay. Upon arrival we found one employee outside sitting on his phone talking to someone and 3 workers in the store. (There was one delivery car at the store when we arrived). We patiently waited in the lobby for our order to be ready. During our wait another employee walked in with a delivery bag so I looked outside and sure enough there is now 2 delivery cars parked outside the store. This was pretty frustrating considering we were told they had none that night. We didn’t say anything and just waited for our order. When the pizza was done they were putting it in the box when the employee touched around his mouth area and then picked up a pepper with the same bare hand and put it in our box. Gross?? I called the manager on site and got no name but told him about the delivery issue and he didn’t seem to have a care in the world about it so I didn’t even bother telling him the rest. Contacted corporate and hope they handle it properly. Very sad, I have always loved papa johns but save yourself the trouble and just go to dominos or Pizza Hut instead

They use to be good. Now the “Original Crust” was mashed or something. Then they HAD to deliver someone else’s pizza first. I live less than 2 block from them! Over a hour wait and NOT hot! I tip pretty good. Next time I’m carrying out and if the pizza is the same I’m getting my money back and never going back.

I’ve came to pick up a order for a door dash customer and was treated very bad. This happen around 11:45 pm on December 10th 2022. All I did was ask if he could check the order. He started yelling at me i have to wait at least 10 minutes for him to even look at it. I told him no need for the unnecessary attitude, I’m just a delivery man. So he went over to grabbed the order, which was sitting on the rack and dropped the door dash customer food on the floor and told me to get out. I told him that i need the food for the customer and went to grabbed it off the floor. The guy who said he was a manager got very violent and in my face wanting to hit me when he dropped my customer order, as I try to go picked it up. We’re all out here trying to work and shouldn’t have to deal with this kind of treatment, behaviors. Police even came and told me get a picture of him and report to upper management. I don’t know this guy name but have his picture. He’s about 5’8 5’9ish Caucasian with a scrubby beard. Probably around 170lb. Please don’t give this papa John’s any business because we as human shouldn’t be treated like dog poop, when we are just trying to work and make money to pay bills. Anybody knows this guy/Manger name please help report him to upper management. From all the reviews I read it seems like it’s thesame guy that’s treating a lot of customers/dasher bad. We don’t need this kind of person making people’s food or manage a papa john.

I think papa needs to realize that Doordash is not their employees but are the face of your company. Ordered 10 items and got 2, doordouche said “so thats what they give me.” Called manger at location “no sorry, just will send our driver out with the rest of your order.” So might have all my food 3hrs after I placed my order. Thanks for a lack of customer service.

This location is not worth the 1star strictly because of customer service. I ordered two pizzas, breadsticks and jalapeño rolls/bites and when they arrived the garlic sauce in the breadsticks had been smashed and leaked and soaked everything. I called and requested a replacement breadstick order as they were the worst damaged and swimming in the sauce from their box. I was told they would need the bad breadsticks to replace and I said that is fine but the kids had taken a few already. “JUSTIN” proceeded to tell me then they can’t be that bad if they ate some and he didn’t see a problem. As I was explaining to him the kids don’t care but I do that my order was ruined he decided to hang up on me. I will be taking this as far as I can up the chain of command to be resolved.

Absurdly long wait for food! Ordered it at 5:27pm on a Tuesday. By 6:15pm still didn’t get it. Food was lukewarm and the driver is doing door dash too. Papa John’s is off of our places to eat at. Good riddance.
