Let me start by saying I’ve been ordering from this place for over a year now. When I first started ordering, there were minor issues that I got over like the hour and a half wait time because my food was still hot. But after a couple months, the quality of the food went down to the point where I won’t order from this place ever again. I ordered a hand tossed pizza and as someone who worked in a pizza place making fresh pizza for 6 years, I could tell they took a small dough and stretched it out to a medium just LOOKING at the crust. Oh and as for the crust, it was rock hard and thin, BARELY any sauce and toppings so it tasted like straight up salty cardboard. I gave them another chance and AGAIN the quality was absolute garbage. As time goes on the food just keeps getting worse and worse. The night I decided I was over it was when I didn’t get my food the night before, called the store, the manager had an attitude and said he couldn’t bring me the food because it was too late and the driver couldn’t find me. That was the FIRST time a driver couldn’t find my place. So I told the manager it was fine and to cancel it and I’d order the next day. I order the next day and regret it as soon as I get my food because it was the disgusting quality I listed above. I was over it. Rude staff, gross food, and you have to wait at least an hour for it 99% of the time. Not worth it. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

I ordered online for my team for lunch today and picked it up at the store. The pizza was perfect, the breadsticks were amazing, and their spicy garlic dipping sauce was phenomenal! The lady at the front (I wish I would have gotten her name), was so friendly! I could tell she really focuses on her customer service and to create a great experience for her customers. I don’t ever take the time to write reviews, but I felt driven to because of how awesome she was and because our lunch was so fresh, hot and great! Thank you again! 🙂

We love Papa Johns but this was the first time ordering from this location. We placed our order at 6:45 and by 8:30 it still had not arrived. We called and they said it had just left. By 9:15 we still had not heard about our pizza. We called and they said they did not know the status of our order and that it was doordashed. We looked on our porch to find soggy and cold pizza and breadsticks. There was no confirmation that our order had been delivered and no knock at the door. We are currently reheating our food in the oven. Very disappointing.

Last night, September 22, my daughter placed an order for me and they stated it would take about 30 to 45 minutes to deliver. After two hours I called to check on the order and they said they were on my street. I looked outside because my street is only one block and saw no one. I was about to call them back and cancel after all this time when my puppy started barking. When I looked outside I didn’t see anyone so I went to the front door. My wings were on the ground and no one called and didn’t even ring the doorbell. The wings were cold and I had to check for ants or bugs since they were near grass. I called the store on Lee Drive because I had never had this problem before but after being on hold for 8 minutes I hung up! Needless to say I won’t be ordering from there ever again!!! I threw my sandwich away and my daughter ate one of the orders of wings. I was too upset to eat!

Management (think her name is Christine or Christina) at this location has been excellent. I’ve placed multiple orders using the PJ app where, for some reason, my order is sent to PJ Lee Drive location rather than multiple locations closer to my home. Each time the manager has arranged for a 3rd party service to deliver my order. It would have been easy for them to insist on voiding the order or have me go through the trouble of placing a duplicate order at a different store, but the manager worked with me to adapt to a less than ideal situation. Christina’s exceptional customer service has consistently made up for PJ’s negligent technology. Fix your app Papa John’s! Keep up the great work, Lee Drive management!

Ordered two pizzas from there this evening for carryout and the total price was $35 + tax. When I picked the pizza up I asked the manager Joshua if they had any current deals they could provide since the total seemed really high for a specialty and a cheese pizza. He told me there were no deals. I returned home and saw an TV ad for Papa John’s stating bogo free. I called to find out why I was lied to he explained that they were not allowed to provide that discount unless someone specifically requested it. The pizza was incredibly overpriced for mediocre fast food.
