Almost two hours for a medium pizza and drink. Pizza was crusty and dry. The dough was stale. Too much sauce in some spots. And uneven cheese coverage with very little toppings. Seemed lazy and definitely subpar. Like just about every place else in Shreveport.

I would give 0 stars if I could and still be able to make a review. The papa johns at 9225 MANSFIELD RD.!!!!! Is by far the worst place you could order a pizza from. Management (Manager DERRICK) is literally awful. Why are you working? as a manager at that, at this place you’re clearly miserable at? He was so rude for no reason. I called to report my issues to the store and he did not greet me with a “how may I assist you” he said “what’s wrong with you?” As if I’m the problem in this situation. I told him my issues with this order and he had a smart comeback for everything I said. There is a thumb print in my pizza. He said “it’s not a thumb print, it’s a cheese bubble” a cheese bubble does not go all the way to the crust. I told him it looked like somebody put my pepper in their mouth, chewed it and spit it out. He said “that’s the way they come sometimes” I DONT CARE if that’s the way “they come” don’t put that in my box! Throw it away. The other two were the size of quarters. My pizza wasn’t cut, so we had to cut it ourselves. My cheesesticks were missing a topping. He said “my bad I didn’t see it” his tone was rude and his attitude was just over all terrible. Food wasn’t up to par and the problem was not resolved. Customer service from this MANAGER is a 0/10

Pizza’s good, although some employees need to learn what extra sauce or toppings means. Your mileage will vary on getting a friendly employee as well. And store manager derrick is a manager in title only. Knowledgeable worker by virtue of being there a long time, but he doesn’t know how to actually manage. I guess as long as the place doesnt burn down, papa john’s is fine with it and is content on never actually improving.

Working nearby and stopped in at 740pm to order some pizzas for myself and coworkers. Enter building and both workers busy cleaning as if closing. Woman rolled her eyes at me when she saw me come in. She waddled to the register with a very unwelcome demeanor and just stared at me. I just stared at her right back. Then she says “can I help ya?”, in the most unfriendliest unwelcome voice she could muster. I asked her if it would be ok of I ordered some food, or are they closing? She said that they were, but not yet. I told her that I wasn’t ordering anything because I could tell by her attitude the food wouldn’t be good, and if she wasn’t interested I wasn’t either. Then she finally cracked a smile. Probably because she was successful at messy up my day. This person should be fired and doesn’t deserve a job anywhere. I walked out and went down the street to smittys, which was freaking terrible, but atleast they were nice. Spent 67 bucks down there. It’s a shame because I’ve been to this location about 8 times in the last 3 months and the workers have been atleast average and the food was good. Yall need to fire these 2 losers yall had working on Monday night 3-6-23. I also looked on the internet and it said this was supposed to close at 9pm.

You would think with as many people ordering out, a company like Papa John’s would be prepared. I ordered my food at 11:06 and received it at 12:36. The delivery driver was by no means cordial! My food was room temperature at best! Will NOT ORDER from this location again!

The pizza hasn’t lived up to wut it used to be. I used to choose Papa John’s hands down among other pizzas. But, here lately it hasn’t met expectations. It’s mediocre at best. It’s not the recipe, perhaps it’s the pizza makers, who use to take pride in making the pizza the best. I hope they get back to the old days!

Pizza was gross this time for some reason. Just no flavor. Then they forgot my wings. When I called they said they had no delivery drivers available at this time so I requested a refund. They said they couldn’t refund a partial order but could offer 50% off my next order or free wings next time. I said cool. But then I was told I had to make the order within the next week to get the discount. I don’t eat pizza several times a week so I that won’t work. Why am I given a time frame so short? So now I’m waiting on the manager to bring some wings I don’t even want.
