I have went to Papa Juan’s since I was prob 8 years old. As a kid we are here every Friday because it was affordable, good food with great service. Nothing has changed in the 32 years I have been going here. Still great good food, amazing service and prices that you can actually afford to take your family without breaking the bank. Staff is always friendly and the managers are someone who you can talk to on a personal level. We will continue to go back knowing we will have a good experience.

I used to love coming but the last few times the quality keeps going down. Tables were dirty and sticky, it took over an hour to get the tacos we ordered. The rice was over cooked and dry, the beans were cold. Our waitress was great very apologetic. But this is now the third time I’ve had similar experiences. So this has now become an ongoing issue. I do hope they fix it.

Walked in, no service available. Maybe 10 people in the restaurant but no one would acknowledge us. We seated ourselves and waited and nothing… We left and no one noticed. Went to haciendas down the street and they were great

I ordered a Mexican dish call chorizo con pollo which is chicken and chorizo served over a better rice with cheese sauce and shredded cheese served with tortillas side of rice and beans. Was not very good because it had too much cheese on it.

It was very loud. The waitess was overly booked. The barterad were awesome. The food was awesome. Will visit again. Having austim and trying to eat was hard due to loudness. Took food home.

A sign indicated we should seat ourselves. Menus were difficult to find and silverware was unavailable. It took about five minutes before someone took our order. Chips and salsa were brought out at that time. Drinks were kept full and the staff was friendly. The salsa was excellent and we all enjoyed our entrees.

The drinks here are ok. But the food is gross and over priced. My chimichanga was more like soggy and disgusting and waitstaff did nothing to compensate me. She didn’t offer ti make a new one, buy agreed it was nasty. Looked like busicuitz and gravey. Under done and oily with thick clumpy cheese sauce

Now the owner sleeps out back in a trailer, tables sticky and dirty. This place has to be the worst food in Cedar Rapids. Food cold, drinks burnt, and staff has no clue what’s going on. Everything taste like it’s out of can. Rich has ruined this restaurant, please close before someone gets sick.

A great place for well-priced pizza, with a deliciously thin crust and wide variety of toppings. The waiters/waitresses are delightful, the restaurant is very comfortable, and service is amazingly fast. This is a great sit-in restaurant, and perfect for families. I would very much recommend!
