I have long been a fan of papa Murphy’s. Recently I attempted to place an order for build your own. It clearly says $16.99 build your own with up to 5 toppings. This worked two weeks ago at bridle trails. I built my 5 topping pizza that rang up as $25 before tax and wasn’t itemized in any way.

10 minutes till close and they locked the door as I parked. I watched them do it. I walked up and they told me through the door that they were closed. 10 minutes early mind you. All good. But don’t lock the door as soon as I pull up.

Papa Murphy’s stands on its own as a very good take and bake pizza place . If you have the time, probably one of the better values in take out pizza. I’m lopping off one star because I strongly suspect they recently pulled a fast one and added a little more bread and fewer ingredients in the deep dish pie.

Moved to Juanita 4 years ago and have been going here almost every week for $12 Tuesday and have never received a poorly made pizza. Workers are super friendly and helpful, and every time I go in they make sure to say hello even when they are super busy. Hats off to them especially over the lockdown as they have had more than an hour wait they were so busy, but still kept up the quality. The people who work on Tuesdays, the “A team” as we call them, make one of the best pizzas you can get to take and bake.

We were there right when they opened. I looked at the dishes in the setup and it wasn’t clean. Looked like last night crew did a poor clean up. I order my pizza(Tues) always a good deal. There was no one in the shop. I started to sit down and in a not very nice tone the lady behind said I had to wait out side which was fine…but tone is everything. I hadn’t been to this shop since the virus so everything is new. I don’t go out much. Anyway I think after you pay maybe say “please wait out side and we will bring you your pizza” the young man working on our pizzas did a nice job and pizzas were very good. So thank goodness for the young man working there. He made a not great encounter much better. Should have gotten his name. Tuesday around 11ish hour. Maybe put a sign on the bench. Or rope it off or put sodas on it.

This was the worst papa Murphy’s experience I’ve had and I’ve ordered dozens of times without issue. Tonya refused to add extra sauce or garlic to our order. What I took issue with was her lack of service recovery. She did not apologize or attempt to offer an explanation. She also insisted that it would take 20 minutes to make this order. Our order number was 10001, which I assume makes us the first order of the day. The order was ready in 5 minutes, but we waited in the cold outside for 15 more minutes, assuming it was someone else’s pizza. The pizza had less sauce than usual and the cheese was clumped together in large mounds. Not only is Tonya bad with customers, she was bad at making pizza. I worked in food service for 3 years and I am often forgiving of restaurants and employees, but this was an unacceptable experience.

My husband and I got food poisoning from our meat lovers pizza last night. We have eaten this pizza many times and never had issues till last night about an 1hr after we were both vomiting and severe cramping and diarrhea all night long. Never will eat there again. Yucky
