Excellent breakfast and conveniently located along Route 9! Very friendly staff and large portions. The “regular” pancake is massive, and they have a Giant one as large as a pizza pan! The omelets, eggs, and home fries were also great!

Great experience and felt like a local when we visited Papa Pete’s from out of town. The service was great and the food was delicious. We ordered the famous pancake with banana, kitchen sink omelette and Granny Smith apples omelette. All delicious!!!

Really like this place, the food is great. Especially the giant pancake. The only drawback is the speed of getting the food (super slow) and they close 30 before the posted time online. So if you arrive too close to closing time, you will miss it . Worth the visit and if you are up to a food challenge try to break the record and eat 3 or more giant pancakes. The record holder ate four.

I was looking for a different place for breakfast as I wasn’t impressed with previous breakfast spots in Bennington and was glad that I found this place right outside of Bennington in Woodford VT, Home of the Giant Pancakes,I was amazed of how big the pancakes were, My wife wasn’t impressed and didn’t eat her pancake I on the other hand enjoyed my breakfast and I would definitely want to return,I have no complaints and would recommend this place if you are looking for a nice cozy place.

Stopped here on a very wet Sunday for some brunch with the family while up in Woodford on our annual camping trip up here. The staff and atmosphere felt like home, as I was born in New England and have lived here most of my life. Staff were upfront about an extra wait for food, so we had no surprise there. Food was definitely worth the wait! My eggs Benedict we’re seasoned to perfection, and the home fries were easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The giant pancake was delicious and even fantastic when we reheated our leftovers later on. Kids also loved their food, and appreciated how nice the staff were to them. This is a lovely little family run place, so don’t expect a chain restaurant experience and you’ll be more than happy with the food and service! My only regret is that we didn’t stop here last year too!

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic! We shared a plain small pancake, a Philly Cheesesteak Omelet, and a traditional breakfast with over easy eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the pancake was easily one of the best, if not the best, pancake we had ever ate! The friendly service and staff tied it all together, and made it feel like home! Great stuff, we were really happy we stopped in!!
