That’s all I can say is Wow definitely different taste in pizza pie! I had this pizza before a couple years ago at a friend’s house and I remember the sweetness of the sauce. When they sent me a coupon for their location in Des Plaines I went there right away and sure enough the sauce was the same. It’s like a garlicky sauce but sweet. Very tasty if you never tried a Papa Ray’s Pizza it’s worth the trip!

I never post reviews but this time I will. The wings and the garlic bread with cheese were good the lady at the front went above and beyond. I definitely give her props she made sure we a family of 5 had everything we needed and even kept checking on us more than once. Prices were very reasonable. I also noticed they deliver and cater.

Pizza was… not as good as other locations… This was overdone and wasn’t fresh. It was quite small, cheese was overdone and basically brown and black, crust was rock hard and I think it’s pre made and reheated. The one in Carol Stream serves a totally different monster slice and it’s 10/10. It’s a little thicker crust, super fresh, full of sauce and cheese and made to order. If I ate them side by side it would be 2 different restaurants.Usually when I order from them it takes 10-20 minutes per slice. It’s definitely a fresh pizza. This was a joke. Don’t cut corners guys take your time and make it fresh.

I don’t write review often but had to after my experience. I ordered wings and rib tips for pickup with Lemon Pepper, Mango Habanero and Teriyaki. Got home to find there was only two small sauce containers and both were teriyaki. I called to ask if I missed a bag possibly with the other sauces. After putting me on hold, the lady came back and told me they did forget the lemon pepper but gave me the mango habanero. I told her both containers were teriyaki which she then began arguing with me saying that that wasn’t true and I was given the mango habanero. I wasn’t asking for my money back or anything, I just wanted what I ordered. She said she would have to speak with her manager about what she can do. I asked if I could just pick up the missing sauces and she said she has to speak with her manager and they would call me back another time… (I still haven’t received a call back after few days now) Why was fixing missing sauces that big of a deal??? We also found multiple feathers on the wings and the fries with the rib tips were extremely undercooked. Absolute awful service. Will never go back to this location again after the horrible service.

You guys are freakin’ awesome! Every time I come to town, I order from Papa Ray’s. The deep-dish pie is absolutely amazing! I have always had friendly people take my order and also bring it to my hotel room. I will continue to order from here every time I come back to the Chicago area.
