This was our first visit here we and really enjoyed our time. The bartender was also our server and she did a great job. They have a nice selection of beers, bourbons and cocktails to choose from. The wings were really good and the the “The Special” Pizza was absolutely wonderful!! The walleye and margarita pizza were also very good. The setting is that of a local pub where everyone is welcome. We will be back!

Food is good. Great beer and wine selection. Atmosphere is good. My only complaint would be all the kids they have running the place. I guess that is just a “thing” in some places. I always prefer confident, experienced wait staff and bartenders. We would go more often if they opened before 4:00PM

Our waiter was hands down the best waiter we’ve ever had. And we’re not even regulars there, yet. We will be now. The food is amazing and applause to the staff. Highly recommend that you try this place. You won’t regret it.

Went here with my grandparents after many years away! The food was excellent and so was the service! Portion sizes were a bit too much for me, but that’s probably a good thing for some, right? The guitars on the walls were very cool, too!

We have been there multiple times. Absolutely the best Pizza around, any of the flavors that we have tried. The Calamari is the best in any restaurant within a 50 mile radius. They have a great selection of micro beer on tap and you have to try a martini. I have heard great things about the prime rib, however, we have not tried it yet.

Absolutely love the food here. The pizza is some of the best and the carrot cake is an ABSOLUTE must everytime. The only downside is the price of everything. Everytime my wife and I go with out 2 small children, it’s 100 bucks. That’s 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 2 kid entrees. And honestly that’s a pizza and burger for us. Not steak or any of the high dollar items. 2 fountain pops costs me 7 dollars. No free refills.

We stopped in for an early dinner. Our pizza was delicious! We were here 30 years ago while celebrating a family anniversary. Great to see that they are still making dining magic all these years later near beautiful Lake Maxinkuckee. The pizza is really good but they also have many other tempting items on their menu! Papa’s is definitely worth a visit; take some extra time to learn of their history; really amazing!

Our first visit to Papa’s! We had a wonderful time learning about the history of the restaurant’s founder and his time in the music business. Our pizza-The Deluxe- was outstanding and more than filling for the two of us. The crust had a nice little crunch to it and the perfect amount of “cheese pull” to it. And we had to finish our meal by sharing a slice of caramel apple pie. Wow!!

Food is pretty good. I like it much better than another Italian place in the same town. Service is always good. And it’s a nice atmosphere. It’s a little pricey, but the portions are large, and it’s more of a fine dining menu.
