We really enjoyed this Papa’s and beer on Haywood road. From the time we walked in from the table service, to the drinks, food and atmosphere, it was a five star experience. That we can enjoy because the other ones are not this good. The food was delicious, it came out hot, large portions and the margarita was amazing! I recommend this restaurant to anybody in the Greenville and surrounding areas. Probably one of the best Mexican restaurants we have in town.

Papas and beer is always on point! Every single time we eat here the food, atmosphere, and service is always amazing. The kids love the salsa bar and of course all of the fun stuff outside to take pictures with. Plenty of room for seating so there’s really never a long wait, the food is always fresh hot and delivered very quickly to your table…. Which is definitely a plus when you’re eating with kids!! Great beer selection and an even better tequila selection!!

Overall, we enjoy eating here. The atmosphere is awesome. It’s so colorful inside and out. The prices are fair and service is extremely fast. The food is good and plentiful, but whatever oil (or something else) tends to upset our tummies. We go a couple times a year.

Found this location by accident when in Greenville, SC. The outside decor was amazing and the inside design was just as funky and fun. The waitress was nice but must have had lots of customers as she didn’t check on us but a few times. Our chips and drinks ran out and we had to stop her as she walked by to get refills. Food arrived quickly and it was plentiful. Hubby’s choice of Pollo bowl was good, as he said it was delicious. I chose carnitas and was expecting tender pork but instead got a plate of burnt ends. I also asked for no beans and no cilantro and both were included. My plate was less than enjoyable and I wasn’t pleased with the service. I might give it one more chance but would stick with an old favorite like ACP or fajitas to see if that was better.

This place ..the only good this is the drinks and the complimentary bean dip and chips.. The service was awful, we Waited almost ten minutes for someone to take our drink order. My fiancé wanted a specific alcohol and was told it was a shot left in the bottle so he had to see if he had anymore. He came back and said no, my fiancé was fine with what was left in the bottle but because someone else was drinking that exact brand…he was turned down. SMH

Had a great time eating here with the family. Good drinks, chips, and the best steak nachos around. Every time I go I tell everyone they need to get the supreme steak nachos and it never disappoints. May be the best nachos in town. This is definitely a cool Papas and Beer location with how big it is and all the decorations. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the mood for Mexican food.

Went here for dinner last night with my girlfriend and her family. Foods always great. Tried the torta for the first time. It was pretty good. Always leave full and satisfied. Cant eat Mexican without the cheese dip!

Ate dinner here on a Friday night. There was no wait for a table and the service was great! After being seated they brought out chips and a bean dip salsa. We then ordered and our food was out in 5-10mins! We had chicken, steak, and pork tacos and they were delicious! The cost was ideal for the quality and portion size. This restaurant also has a self serve salsa bar. Restaurant was clean with a good environment.
