Was pleasantly surprised by this place. If you blink you missed it. We did, ended up doing a U-turn in the neighborhood behind it. This place is the epitome of a mom and pop shop. Being a Texas Native and having the privilege to visit Franklin’s, Burnt Bean, 2M you name it I’ve tried it. I have really high expectations for bbq. Passing through Louisiana I wanted something off the beaten path. The sides here are delicious and the brisket was really good. Moist and flavorful. The pork ribs for us were a let down. Tough with minimal flavor. Overall if your in the area it’s definitely worth a stop. Support small business and get a great lunch in the process.

Wow!! I’m amazed by this place! I picked up lunch for my coworker & I and we were both extremely impressed & stuffed! I got the Mutt bbq bun with Mac & cheese, I also added a side of potato salad. The sandwich was so delicious & I could eat the Mac and cheese everyday and still not get tired of it. This is hands down the best bbq I’ve eaten in a very long time. I can’t wait to come back and bring my partner.

I really loved this place. It breaks my heart to not be able to give 5☆. It was so unbearably hot. My children got horrible headaches, and were not able to enjoy the excellent food. If you are looking for take-out, this is most definitely 10/10

Holy smokes. I’m in a food coma. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Just moved to the area from Houston, and haddent found any bbq. This place nails it. Super small, family ran goodness. Needs to.be on dinners, drive ins, and dives. It’s so good. Big portions. Good prices. Smells amazing when you walk in. We will be back! From what I gathered it’s a veteran owned business. BONUS!!!!

Hands down the best bbq I’ve ever had. Pulled pork was nicely smoked. Sausage had great flavor. Their bbq sauces were perfection. Baked beans and cole slaw were like none I’d ever had. Very friendly! Great place to eat!
