This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is clean, and the folks working there were friendly and attentive. The food was good and the menu fairly diverse. My gripe with Papa is that he’ll charge you an additional 4%, yes 4%, for using a credit card to pay your bill. I don’t know that the business is charged that much by the credit card company to process the transaction.

Great service very friendly servers and host! Unfortunately the food was leftover from the weekend and was obviously heated up, very greasy soggy. I had pulled pork and brisket. We were in town for a college football game and we’re looking for a place to eat that was not fast food . My mom had ribs that were obviously heated up from the weekend and my wife had a pork tenderloin sandwich that was very dry with a bun straight from Walmart brand. The inside of the restaurant was clean and nice the outside looked shady and and we almost didn’t go inside. Lots of clutter around the building and looked a little ghetto.

Food was great! The service friendly and the cost of the meal was a great value! It also has one of the best waitresses in town- Heather! She’s super friendly, funny and makes everyone feel welcomed! Her smile alone is reason enough to visit Papas! Great dining experience!

I came in randomly on a trip from the Chicago suburbs. Glad I did. The barbecue is fantastic! Try the brisket. Excellent sweet BBQ sauce as well. Friendly service.
