Stopped by for happy hour. We had the empanadas and chicken nachos which were really good and also tacos (which I wasn’t too fond of because it had a herbal taste) the frozen margaritas were also really good. The hookah was amazing but service from waitress could’ve been a little better but I completely understand because it was slightly busy. Will definitely be back!

It was a great first time experience. The service a bit long with our food but honestly, I am a patient person and the food was great. The lemon margarita was tasty and the passion fruit as well. I love the music which is the music I prefer. It was really great and awesome. Will come back!

We stopped on a Sunday at around 12:30. We were seated immediately but it was clear they were still setting up and getting ready for the day. After waiting for what felt like about 10 minutes while we observed several staff standing around and not making any eye contact with us, we were about to get up and leave when someone finally came and took our order. There were two big groups that had been seated and ordered before us, so it took quite a while for our order of empanadas and fish tacos come out the kitchen. They were good – the empanadas were small and could have been hotter, but the flavors were good. And the fish tacos were good, but they were very skimpy with the slaw on top. The atmosphere is fun, and the music was loud.

Very slow service. Had to ask for the check three times. When it came, there was a 18% mandatory gratuity charge for our table of three. Beware, after they ran my card, they presented a receipt asking for additional tip… Not to mention they first gave me a completely wrong check that was $100 too high. Possibly one of the least honest restaurants I’ve been to. Only giving an additional star because the food was decent and the outdoor patio seating was nice.

A lovely spot! Theres no siting inside because of Covid, but they have plenty of seating outdoors. Unfortunately though there were bees that were bothering my sisters & I plus 3 other seated guests. It was extremely frustrating & slightly scary. Though the food was good, rich in taste & a hefty serving size for a great price, those bees were unruly & persistent. I love the fact that it’s right next to the A train which is always a plus when traveling from Manhattan. I loved the decor of space & the well thought out(& clean) bathroom. My sisters & I went in the afternoon around 2:15pm it wasn’t busy until we were getting ready to leave. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.

Love coming to Papasito’s. It’s a mix of Dominican/Mexican and food and drinks are absolutely delicious! Depending on when you go, weekday/weekend the service may be lacking but usually they’re friendly and satisfactory.
