We love Papaya in the Renton Landing. The quality and care to make every dish as beautiful as it is delicious is proven here. The vegetables are crisp and fresh in the cold dishes and their menu has many healthy choices. The meat is usually prepared perfectly, juicy and tender. The rice chicken stone pot is my husband’s favorite and he orders it almost every time. The rice is sizzling and crispy on the bottom. The Pho is the best I’ve had anywhere. Mainly because everything is so fresh and the broth better than most. It’s a large serving and hard for me to finish in one sitting. We’ve been coming here since they opened and continue to look forward to going back. The service is top notch, friendly and helpful. They let me have both of 2 choices of protein that I couldn’t decide between in my noodle salad. It was so good with both a pork skewer and shrimp. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. It has low relaxing lighting with tables and chairs and booth seating. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We picked this place primarily for convenience and availability of vegan options near our hotel and it was truly a surprise! The quality of this food feels different from what you would expect in a strip mall. Everything came out plated beautifully and the stone pot dish was practically sizzling. We had the veggie pho, the iron pot with tofu, and the lemongrass sautéed tofu and everyone was satisfied with their meals, but the iron pot was the showstopper, the coconut flavor and texture of the fried tofu was an incredible pairing along with the garlicky sauce they brought to pour over the dish.

Papaya is the best pho place I’ve been to to date. The location is very clean and nice, and both the indoor and outdoor seating looked great. We were seated straight away, but it took a moment for them to collect our order. Once we placed it, the food came quickly and all at the same time.

FANTASTIC lunch today. The pho broth was stellar and the Vietnamese crepe with pork and shrimp was just lovely. Service was quick, however definitely not one where they check and see if your food is OK and instead is where the host just tosses your menus on the table and walks away, and while the seating was comfortable the tables – and the floor! – was, well, sticky. Definitely recommend for take-out but not for in-person dining due to the service and cleanliness issues. The staff was hustling, they just need better training on keeping tables and floors regularly cleaned, and remember that even in a more casual place, we appreciate acknowledgement – especially if they want a generous tip.

I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Papaya, a Vietnamese Thai restaurant. The highlight of my visit was the outstanding coconut curry dish. The balance of flavors and spice level was spot-on, making it arguably the best I’ve ever tasted. But the culinary excellence was just one part of the equation – the warm and friendly host added another layer of charm to the evening. Not only did they make me feel welcome, but they also recommended the Creamy Avocado drink with jelly, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. This restaurant truly understands how to create a memorable dining experience, combining exceptional dishes with exceptional hospitality. I’m thoroughly impressed and can confidently say that Papaya has won a special place in my heart.

The food here is superb, which makes it worth visiting. I recommend the combo or oxtail pho and coconut chicken stone pot. I could easily eat the pho here every day – it’s really that delicious. Just be aware that the service is mediocre. During our first visit we had to wait a long time to be served, were never asked if we need anything, and were ignored for 15+ minutes when we wanted the check. Subsequent visits have been better but still underwhelming.

Papaya is a good restaurant at The Landing in Renton that serves delicious Vietnamese cuisine. Customer service is good, and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. You can enjoy delicious meals, and after that, you can walk the strip or watch movies next door.

What a delicious place to have lunch! I came in and had a beef banh mi with extra beef. For me, I would have loved it to be even more Jam packed with beef, but I realize I am the exception on this. The baguette was soft yet crispy, super delicious. Fresh veg, delish. Odd to serve it with sweet potato fries, but I can’t complain. The star of the show was the bbq pork fried rice! So tasty!

One of the better Vietnamese restaurants in Renton. Good portion, the beef is fresh and tender. Great soup! They open pretty early on the weekend. Great place for early lunch after a morning workout session. Loved the decoration and oh the restroom is also very clean! Checked all the boxes for me. I would definitely comeback again.
