Authentic Street food made cooked over wood. Tacos, burritos, and churros are all homemade and fresh to order. They have arguably the best birria in Los Angeles and their smoked Pollo is to die for. It is halal and has a great atmosphere. Thank you for the experience Papi, my favorite new spot.

THE BEST TACOS I’VE EVER HAD!!! The birria is so flavorful, you can taste the quality, next day ordered their smoked pollo HUGE burrito and I couldn’t finish the whole thing, everything was a 100/10!

Grand Opening Disaster! Line was not long to order, but to receive your order yes. Ordered just a Agua Fresca and Churros. After at least 20 minutes ordering, I get the Churros. I get to try them and both pieces are Raw! Went back in and just asked for a refund instead of waiting another 20 minutes or more! Street Churros at the Walmart on South Street and Downey Ave are recommended instead and also they have fried Platano Macho, now that I recommend you to try! Pretty high for 2 six inch Churros and the wait!

Giving the stars for service, cleanliness, and effort. The food was overpriced for what it is. My kids didn’t get full and the quesatacos barely had any cheese. Flavor was good but the portions are for toddlers. Eat before you go

Food and service was incredible! Definitely the best birria I’ve ever had, very good spot to bring friends and family. Menu options are great, everyone I know that has tried their burritos and tacos has absolutely loved it. To top it off their churros make a lovely desert! Will for sure be coming back whenever I’m in the area 🙂

This was actually the most delicious and authentic Mexican birria I have had in LA. I’ve been to Mexico countless times and always missed the birria, but now I have it in my neighborhood! This is the best thing that happened to California. The smoked chicken has so much depth and the birria is good quality (not the fatty meat that trucks usually sell). Come to papis!! Went there about 11:10 my order was not taken until 11:30 line was not too big. Service slow, I ordered a burrito, churro and a coke. Taken another half hour just to get my order. Talked to the person serving the orders and he was rude. Told me mine was coming up. I watched a few people who ordered after me get theirs first. Gave it three stars because of the service.
