Staff and restaurant were nice, but was not overly impressed. Food was bland, chips tasted like they were right out of a bag, not even salted. Saw there was plastic melted onto the side of my plate, which stirred up a lot of questions about the freshness of the food and how clean plates/utensils are. Could not find a single high chair that was not broken.

We had a lovely dinner at Papi’s at Palomar. The food was good, it came out fast, especially given how busy they were. The thing Papi’s did best was service – again, they were quite busy and we were waited on very quickly. Everyone was incredibly nice and seemed to want their guests to enjoy their visit and meal. We will definitely be back!

Our food was delicious! I had the chicken fajitas and my son had a chicken burrito. The restaurant was spotless and the service was fast, and friendly. Their Queso Cheese dip was some of the best that I have had in Lexington. We will definitely be back soon.

Food was great- we ordered a variety of entrees and everyone gobbled them up. I was with a somewhat large party, but they seated us right away. They prepared our food quickly and accurately. I got the chicken fajitas, and it was delicious, but I was torn between that or the street tacos, so I want to come back and try the hibiscus tacos. They sound amazing!

We had a short wait for a Friday night. Our server was a little behind with other tables, so the manager stepped up to assist her, so no tables had customers waiting long. I thought that was awesome of him! The food was delicious and the margaritas are always amazing!

Was so disappointed to after trying Papi’s for the first time today. Went for lunch, ordered ahead. I ordered chicken fajita nachos which I always get at Mexican restaurants. Instead of having the white cheese dip on top it had half melted, yellow and white cheese ( I do not like most cheese and I hate it not melted), the chips were completely burnt, and the only thing edible was the chicken pieces, so that’s what I had for lunch 🙁 I was also told 20 minutes, I was there within 10 and the food was already sitting on a shelf and cold. Probably won’t risk it again sadly 🙁

Good margaritas, good selection of food choices. Decently authentic in flavor, for a bigger, appealing-to-the-masses type Mexican place. Very nice people and it is quite popular with minimal wait time. They really do a good selection of the margaritas.
