The butter beef tacos are really the shining star here. I believe the tortillas are handmade which is a huge plus. I also had a carnitas taco but it it didn’t seem as amazing next to the butter beef. I would give this place four and a half stars if I could. It’s a great little hole in the wall.

I got the butter beef tacos and they were pretty bland, lacked the flavor I was expecting. However, the chipotle chorizo fries were unique, delicious and flavorful, I recommend trying those. My kids enjoyed the burgers so I think it’s a great place to take your kids.

Service was great and quick. I was exciting to try these tacos after the reviews. I got my shrimp and fish tacos to go. When I opened the container I was disappointed when I only saw 4 pieces of shrimp and a lot more beans and corn. Taste was good though.

Love their tacos! Butter beef, carnitas, crispy potato with guacamole, costilla verde…. Yummm! They did recently raise their prices so that’s a bummer. Used to be like $3/taco and now it’s $4. But they have a special for carnitas and butter beef with 3 tacos for $8.50!

3 words. Butter beef tacos. But here are some more words. The potato taco was amazing. Agua frescas were delicious. 1 of my top 3 favorite Mexican food joints. Tied for first even. It was out first time in Pismo. No regrets.
