First time here… not impressed. Went for dinner, place closes at 9 but online it says 10 . Food could have been better, don’t know if it’s typically like this or if it was rushed.

The Barbacoa de Res melts in your mouth! The salsa is some of the best I have ever had.

Came here on a Sunday at 2 and the place was basically empty. Service was still mediocre at best. The serving sizes for the price were very skimpy and the food itself was nothing above average. Menu said that margaritas there are made with fresh juice and it clearly wasn’t. Plenty of other Mexican places to check out in Lexington with better food for better prices.

The chips were awful salsa decent. Service was extremely lackluster I had to get my own boxes for leftovers I fed to my dog for the cattle did not die in vain. Took me 15 minutes of waiting then had to hunt down the waiter for my check. I was once asked if the food was good I said absolutely not and the waiter then just departed not to be seen again. I was not in the mood to be confrontational or else 100 percent would have asked for the manager of the establishment. I’d like to find a positive here but I can’t it’s also extremely loud atmosphere appears everyone is trying to talk over a rock concert event though it was not overly crowded there was no wait. Well theres a positive no wait for a shh meal. I highly recommend place your credit card or cash back in your wallet and dine anywhere else heck McDs definitely higher quality. What they called steak not sure in what part of the world or cow. Anyway hope this may save your night from a bad dining experience.

I’m going to give it another shot, because there were some errors with my order. I did end up getting the cauliflower street tacos, those were quite delicious. Also it’s really awesome that they have Best Vice Ever vegan ice cream. I got the hot chocolate flavor ice cream, it’s so good. The food is amazing, but I’m yet to actually get what I order the first time I order it. If you don’t have food restrictions this is THE PLACE to get Mexican in Lexington. If you do, it’s still the best choice but check your food closely.

We came here on a Saturday for lunch. First it was frightening, we were the only people in the dining area, ONLY people! But we stayed. Chips and salsa and queso pretty basic but salsa was fresh and chips were hot so we were happy. We got the quesadilla, and the fajita tacos plate which luckily came unassembled just as fajita anything should! Quesadilla person was disappointed in the size of the quesadilla but said it tasted pretty good. The fajitas were also good, pretty basic, Americanized Mexican food, no different than every other place in town. The steak was a little dry and and salty but it was good. My only complaint was the vegetables were sparse and tasted so much like the meat you couldn’t tell so that cheapened it a bit. All in al it was okay. I’d eat here again because the service was great and the have a happy hour on margaritas during the week.

This is one of my FAVORITE local restaurants. I kid you not, I’m here at least once a week. This is the most welcoming restaurant in town. Marcos and the whole staff make you feel like family from the second you walk in. The food is good, the portions are huge (the large bowl of soup is literally bigger than my head), and the margs are STRONG. I wish I could give this place more than five stars because they really deserve it. And while you can’t find it on the menu, make sure to ask for the churros. They’re the best!

March 27th 2023 I had lunch with my niece and my sister and it was my first time there. Now my niece chose a vegan dish with flowers my sister and I went a more traditional dish the burrito. The food was excellent and there service top notch. I’ll be back and I’ll bring friends. My niece said the owner was one of her favorite people as he has a business in the New Fountain Blue center next to the Palomar Center off Harrodsburg Rd next to her Jersey Mike’s.

Tacos were very small an didn’t have much flavor. I was taxed on sides to go on them an didn’t even get them. If you go just go to get the margs food is very overpriced. First an last time pulling up. The build your own bowl was more like a lunch you would take to work. Definitely feel like some changes need to be made. Or at least have pictures of what a customer is paying for. The build you own bowl came half full in a hefty container #verydisappointingcustomer
