A tasty Mexican spot that has been there for a long time. Service is good but nothing special. The food is great. The papitos fiesta is hard to beat, although I didn’t think their homemade tortillas were amazing the last time I was there. Like most places, prices have gone up over the years and this is one of the more expensive Mexican places around Madison.

I love everything about this Restaurant from the smell of food to the taste of it… Such friendly atmosphere!! I recommend it to anyone who is traveling by!! Of course people who leave bad reviews don’t understand how hard it is to work at a restaurant and hopefully one day they get to experience it to fully understand the concept of working in an environment like that.

Entered in the evening for dinner with 2 young children. Hostess did not give us any kids menus, I got the high chair myself, and she tried to insist that we sit at a high table while stacking multiple high chairs so our toddler could sit with us.

Wow, was this place dirty! The floors and bathrooms were very off-putting. We were unfortunate in our timing since a party of 19 sat down before us. Their specialty drinks and food orders (which took over 30 minutes) were all done before we were acknowledged. No chips, no drinks, no nod across the room…no nothing. Once our waiter noticed us, he was still not friendly or intuitive. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas and my lunch mate ordered the burrito lunch special. The food was okay, but not great. My fajitas were cold and the tortillas were rubbery. The bite I look of the burrito was better than my meal. The portions were large, so my kiddo was able to eat off of our plates and there were still leftovers. We will try somewhere else next time.

The restaurant is tucked away in one of the corners of the shopping mall. It was a nice place, and the food was very good. My one thing about today is that I felt like the service was a little frazzled. They seemed stressed, and worn thin, and not incredibly friendly and personable. However, the food was very good!

The food seemed to be thrown together. I’m not sure if it was because it was another large crowd besides our crowd that was there or not. Everything seemed dry like the queso cheese was smeared just on the bottom a little bit. The server never came and asked if we were okay or needed anything(not even a refill). Food sucked and service will not go back again to that location.

Saw a table get wiped with spilled soda. No one came to clean it properly. Waiter brought me wrong order but charged me for what I asked for. Server checked on me once had to get his attention by waving arms like a crazy person. And salsa looked unappetizing and so did guacamole. Both had an after taste that I can’t explain. Wont be going back.
