We came on a packed Saturday night for a romantic reservation. We checked in prior to our reservation time, but weren’t seated or spoken to for 15 minutes. I spoke with a young woman at the counter about how long she expected we would wait and she very flippantly said another 20-30 minutes, which was close to an hour after our reservation. She wasn’t very interested in us and explained we should have checked in earlier (although we arrived early for our reservation). The rest of the staff at the counter overheard this and graciously intervened and helped get us seated.

Never disappoints! I had the Catfish Opolusas ( I think I spelled that right) and it’s always sooooo good! The flavor is outstanding. I like to also get a loaded baked potato because they literally have the best potatoes ever! For my drink I had the dirty dirty and it’s my favorite! First time at this location, it was super packed but we were able to snag bar seating. Service was great and on point! Love it!

The food while still good has seen a rate increase that is hard to digest. The service was still amazing. Waited in by a younger person name Jakala who was attentive without being too present. We enjoyed the meal, the Purple Voodoo cocktails and will likely be back …for lunch time pricing.

I didn’t like either drink. What happened to Long island ice tea? It looked like an Arnold Palmer and tasted worse! But our food was Amazing! I didn’t care about points! Our server Jessica was also excellent at her job. I say forget about the so-called crab lump anything! 44$ dish with a teaspoon of blue crab… I Say GET OUTTA HERE! Once you order that’s it! So spare your wallet. How do you enjoy less than a teaspoon in a half?

I love going to Pappadeaux’s Seafood Kitchen!!!!! I had the awesome pleasure to visit the Pappadeaux’s in Ducanville,TX. The atmosphere was great with good energy. Although we had a wait for our meal. The manager, Devon, and our waiter, Javier, continuely checked in on us to make sure all was good with us. Before long, our delicious food was ready hot and delicious. Although there were some unexpected things that happened to our timing of the food, the manager knew what was most important is that you let your guest know what was going on, and really, that made all the difference in how we felt about waiting. We were not going to leave until we got what we came for Pappadeaux’s delicious food!!!! Thank you Pappadeaux’s in Duncanville, TX. For a job well done!!!!!

I was seated quickly, as it was just me so that’s a plus! Had the blacken catfish with red beans and rice, house salad & sweet tea. You get a hefty portion, but the catfish was so salty! I didn’t even finish half of it. The red beans and rice, sausage included, had NO flavor nor spice level and was watery. Sweet tea was so lightly colored and watered down, I just took a few sips and focused on my water. I’ve definitely had better red beans and rice at Popeyes.
