We tried the fish fry at Poppa’s Pub tonight. We ordered baked haddock and perch & both were excellent! The food was served before we were halfway through our drinks! The bartender was friendly & attentive! We love their breakfast & thought we would try going for dinner & it did not disappoint! Highly recommend giving it a try!

We were visiting from Ohio for a wedding and on our way home we stopped in for breakfast. Super clean and a nice place full of friendly people. Service was quick and prices were fair. The food came out fast and delicious. We will definitely be back if we are back in town again.

Good food, friendly staff, extremely slow kitchen. Waited 45 minutes for our breakfast to come out on a not particularly busy Monday morning. Food was good when it arrived. Speed of service is a deal breaker unfortunately.

Very clean establishment filled with photos of local history. Walked in, got to seat ourselves. Waitress was near perfect with timing of everything. Couldve been a tad quicker with drinks but wasn’t bad at all. Food was good quality done well. Didnt feel rushed or like the little time we spent chatting after meal was an imposition. Would recommend and will return.

The place was dirty the food looked as though it had been cooked on a dirty grill. Black burnt pieces all over our food. The waitress brought our drinks dropped them on the table spilling the juice and never bothered to clean it up. At the end of our meal I went to pay for the meal when I told her about the food she asked me if I saw how busy they were and short staffed. I don’t see how that had anything to do with the food. All and all I will never eat there again.

I normally come here for breakfast. Decided to come for dinner. Not too impressed with the menu selection. There’s more adult beverages to choose than food items. Ordered the alfredo with chicken. I know they always say, “Don’t veer too far from what restaurants are known for.” The alfredo tasted like box alfredo you can make at home. To pay $15 for what had no flavor was very disappointing.

I ordered steak and eggs on Sunday 4/23/23 and was really not thrilled with my order. The steak was extremely tough to eat, and made more difficult by not having a decent steak nice to cut it. Then, my hashbrowns had a cooked plastic bread tie in them! I let my waitress know after I paid the bill as I noticed it towards the end of my meal. She asked if we wanted a discount, to which I said no because I was so frustrated with the meal as a whole and wished she would have just been proactive in making it right. However, the brisket omelette we ordered was better quality. Pappa’s is normally one of my favorite breakfast joints, but this was not a good experience.
