This was a really good diner. I will definitely be back to try some breakfast items. I was, at first, elated that they had “Italian Spaghetti”. Just to be sure I asked if it was baked or boiled. They said baked. Baked spaghetti is “American Spaghetti”. Italian Spaghetti is boiled. They also had on the special marquis “baked meatloaf”. How else do you make meatloaf?

Stopped for lunch and it was a great choice. Pappy’s Gumbo followed with some fried Catfish. Still not sure what Jimmi makes here but as everything I ordered was good I’m sure Jimmi does good too. As I don’t eat chicken livers, I can’t speak for them but my partner ranked them 4 out of 5. Nice cozy country atmosphere. They have breakfast dinner dinner as well so it’s worth getting off the main road to check them out. I’ll be back.

The staff is always friendly, the food is great down home cooking, If you have a problem with the food they make it to fit your special requests. This place treats you like family. Myself and my family are frequent guests at least 1 or more times a week.

I usually order chicken n dressing with buttered cabbage and fried potatoes and onions. The chicken n dressing has never disappointed me. One thing to change would be the tv playing music that’s worse than elevator music.

The biscuits and gravy were delicious, and made with love. Fluffy biscuits, fresh cracked buttery eggs and homemade gravy. Waiters weren’t as attentive as I had hoped, but they were friendly and the food was exceptional so I’d return.
