The food is amazing and the best hushpuppies and catfish I’ve ever had…And the sweet Tea was the best I’ve ever had. they leave a giant pitcher of it on your table. Cheap prices for a decent sized buffet. Down home country atmosphere where everybody knows your name. It was a treat to see that kind of hospitality for being a city gal. Unfortunately I have a shrimp allergy and the fish was fried in the same oil as the shrimp so I had an allergic reaction, But other than that I highly recommend.

Great location. Good food, good customer service. Should have gloves for utensils and hand sanitizer and require guests to use. Some people don’t wash their hands.

Best catfish on the planet!! Kids love the chicken spaghetti and their slaw is amazing. The Pineapple desert from the buffet isn’t every night, but if it’s available you need to try it! Kids under 5 eat free.

The atmosphere is really nice. The food is good. The staff is very polite and attentive to their customers’ needs. Miss Cherrie is so sweet. All of the food dishes (that’s served there) are her own recipes. All are prepared fresh, daily.

Most the food was cold,not very friendly except for the old lady. They didn’t have anything like they used too! Very disappointed,and they have went up to 16 dollars for a buffet. I won’t be back.

I came here with a relative who was craving catfish and it was AMAZING. I am not even a big fan of country cooking that isn’t my Mama’s, but Pap’s might have changed my opinion. I will say that there was a line to get catfish and it took a while for the cook to catch up with the demand. Everytime they put it out, it would disappear. But when you get it, is delicious! The fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, hush puppies and peach cobbler were also sooooo good!

Me & hubby decided to go somewhere different to eat. Pap’s place was it. It was an old country feeling. We ordered. Everything was on point the food was good.The place was clean and not to crowded.If u want family time and good eating Pap’s the place. I think we found our new food spot. The people are so friendly and I like the vibe inside. Try out PAP’s Place u won’t be disappointed at all.
