Fantastic experience here! Will definitely be one of our top choices in Elizabeth City, NC! From drinks, appetizers, entrees to desserts, nothing disappointed us. We had their scallop appetizer, mozzarella cheese appetizer, chicken parmesan, lasagna, and jalapeño burger. Everything was delicious! We didn’t have room for dessert, but we ordered turamisu and cannoli to go. Oh, my! Those desserts were fabulous! The owner Andrew and our server Carissa made this such a wonderful experience! Our thanks to them for making our granddaughter Hailey’s graduation day perfect! (Definitely call for reservations, especially on Friday and Saturday.)

We tried this restaurant for the 1st time last week (late lunch/early dinner). They weren’t crowded, so we were seated and ate pretty quickly. Our server, Bailey, was terrific. I had Chicken Alfredo. It was quite good. I loved that they made their own noodles. My husband has the burger. He said it was tasty as well. The location is nice, but the building looks like it needs a little TLC.

All the Adventures
Ok I was really excited to try this place from all the raving reviews my friends gave. The Caesar salad was delicious, not traditional with romaine lettuce but good with homemade chips on it. I had fettuccine with scallops and broccoli with garlic wine sauce. Hubby had eggplant parm. I was disappointed the scallops (for $19 plus $14 pasta) weren’t seasoned and rubbery the pasta was under seasoned and over cooked. Presentation was gorgeous though! Hobby’s eggplant was crispy and delicious as was the red sauce. The bread was a focaccia I think with fresh Parmesan. Will I return, probably in the summer when I can enjoy the view and on a slower day. I’m hoping because it was a busy Friday night they were just overwhelmed.

OMG, the food is the best we’ve had in so long. This is the first time we’ve been here but will return many more times. We were from the North VA, and the restaurant is better than the restaurant from our area. Plus, more food than anyone should eat in one sitting. Plus the cost is so reasonable. The only problem with the service was that they had a few people call in. Other than that, everything was perfect. We love this restaurant.

UPDATE: Went for a second time and the experience was absolutely a 180. We waited about 30 minutes just to be spoken to and receive drinks. Another 20ish minutes for salads, and then the appetizer bread came AFTER our meals came out. We were so upset that we canceled our following dinner party plans to celebrate a birthday. And will never be back.
