I’ve never been here before, but my boyfriend said he loved this place growing up so he wanted me to give it a try. The vibe was different, he claims, because they haven’t had the staff to open the diner since COVID. The food wasn’t all that great. It tasted microwaved, tbh. They did have a good cannoli, though it seemed a bit price-y for only one.

I usually love this place but today I ordered my usual wedding soup and chicken penne alrfredo, I don’t know if it was the cookers or what but I barley got 5 bites out of my wedding soup and the rest was broth, I didn’t like the taste of the chicken in my Alfredo dinner, it taste old and gross. There was no sauce in the dinner, and they gave me cold garlic bread. I couldn’t even eat it.

A little disappointed we’ve gone here for years and since the pandemic began their dining room has been closed. I understood it early on but not now,time for you guys to get back to normal open up the dining room. You must have enough applications by now. I remember getting parassons in barberton when I was growing up and it was always an amazing treat for our family. I placed an order for pick up for a tray of spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic rolls. I wanted my family to enjoy the same treat. Well I hate to say this but I am extremely disappointed in parassons it is NOT at all as good as it once was. The gray had Alot of noodles very little meat sauce that was cold and the garlic s now look like hot dog buns.. so sad

So glad I found this Parasson’s! We used to eat at the one in Parma back in the 80’s – was heartbroken when it closed. When I found out they were still in the Akron area I had to make a special trip. The lasagna is just like I remember it! This will definitely be a new regular stop for me. I hope they re-open the dining room soon.
