Our experience at this diner was less than enjoyable. There was only one waitress taking care of all the tables. She not only took the orders, but she had to clean all the tables off by herself as well. Once seated we had to wait over ten minutes just to put in our drink orders. The food we were served was good, but our drinks went dry without refills. We asked for an unsweet ice tea refill and we were charged an additional $3.50 for 8 ounces of tea. The waitress continued cleaning all the tables by herself while the hostess and the manager stood around doing absolutely nothing. I questioned the manager about the additional charge for the ice tea and he stated “ it is fresh brewed “! I will definitely be dining at a different location in the future!

Not what it used to be. Menu is very small. Different people in the kitchen definitely. Burger was so greasy I had to ask for another bun. Fries are separate and don’t come with anything…plus they don’t even tell you..you find out when the bill comes. They don’t let you know what the upcharge is for anything! Normally it wouldn’t be the end of the world but these upcharges are REALLY expensive. Adding bacon to my burger was like 6 or 7 bucks. Adding fries was very expensive. Chicken to my salad like 6 or 7 bucks. Greek salad with chicken 17 bucks ..really? Also they charge 4% fee when using a credit card. No wonder the parking lot is empty and no one is going there. Very sad used to be a really good diner.

Since re-opening, I have been here twice. First time ordered a burger deluxe. Burger wasn’t cooked properly, onion rings were ultra greasy. Figuring the chef has been out of practice, I gave it another chance. Belgian Waffle: waffle over cooked on the outside, mushy on the inside. Syrup was 100% watered down and tasteless. They either need a new cook or close down all together. If you do take your chances and get a breakfast item definately bring your own syrup. Lost their liquor license for those of you interested. Pre-covid I would have recommended. Now, definately do NOT recommend. Carle Place Diner is not much further down the road and you get your money’s worth there.

I’m glad they are open after being closed for several months due to the pandemic, but this place is the paper menus have print that is so small that it’s ridiculous. My French fries were hot but my friend’s were not. They corrected the situation right away. Waitress wasn’t thrilled to be there but she got the job done.
