I have been eating at this location over 20 yrs ago. Came from WV to my grandpa’s in Baltimore to visit during the summer! Grandpa (RIP) used to bring me here. I have always loved their food and still do! Now I live in MD and whenever I’m close, I always get my curry chicken! I love that I can get it non spicy! Thanks to all the employees over 20 yrs who helped maintain and provide us services! Many blessings to this business! I will get some pics next visit. I always forget to take pics because my mouth is usually watering to taste this food! I would always ask grandpa, if they wanted anything. They would always answer, no we are good, just get whatever you want. However when I got my food, they wanted some! The eye rolls I secretly gave them while sharing! Lol great memories great food!

I ordered the oxtails and it came with rice and cabbage. The oxtails were basic/good. I prefer my cabbage softer. I also ordered a side of plantains which were delicious. I didn’t have to wait long for the food. The price was competitive to other similar restaurants.

The food here is always good. I only had one issue recently I order the jerk chicken Alfredo pasta. It looked like than ran out and gave me the corner left over. When I got home the platter was nowhere near half filled and it had about 4 small pieces of chicken I was very disappointed being though I always order the same from here and know what I was expecting

I ordered online and they called me saying they were out of basically everything I ordered. They also charged me anyway and said there was nothing they could do to refund and I had to contact Toast. Toast tried to contact them and the restaurant ignored them. I ended up having to do a chargeback on my credit card. Ridiculous.

The oxtails were Ok the rice and peas Ok and the cabbage Ok compared to some we’ve had. Not too happy with the portion size since this was a large. I purchased 2 large oxtail meals and a slice of cake it was $48 and some change. The service was fast and friendly and the cake was BOMB

The food is good most of the time, but check your order before you leave, they constantly give you the wrong product. If you don’t live close, it’s probably nor worth it, just go to Golden Krust.
