I strongly recommend this tavern. This was my husband and I fourth time at Park Lane. Each time, we try something different from the menu. There are so many entrees and beverages to choose from. The Bacon Stuffed Gouda Burger was incredible. The burger was cooked to perfection and topped with very delicious fixings such as the thick sliced bacon and onion straws. My husband enjoyed his schnitzel. The portions were huge. We couldn’t eat everything there. Good thing we asked for a doggie bag so we could have room for dessert. I am definitely coming back again for the bread pudding. They are not shy with their portions. When every other restaurant in town is lowering the quality of their products, Park Lane is leading the pack and shouting quality matters. The quality of the food, service, and the atmosphere have my vote.

My wife and I visited this place for the first time today and it was very very good. We got there at 11 a.m. before it got busy in the service was exceptional. I ordered the Beef Wellington and she ordered the London Broil. I also had an Irish coffee that was a good. The appetizer we had the goat cheese dip with the vegetables. The food was exceptionally good. I would recommend this establishment to anyone and we plan on returning very soon. What a good experience.

Our family was driving home to Buffalo, NY from a week long vacation in NC, when our minivan broke down and we ended up in Short Pump, VA very unexpectedly while our car was being repaired. We ate at the Park Lane Tavern 5 times during the few days that we were staying in VA. We had a different server each time, and they were all so kind, professional, and knowledgeable, and anticipated all of our needs so well. The kids’ menu is a terrific value and the meals are quality! We especially loved the Bavarian pretzels, Troublemaker red blend wine, the Park Lane burger, the steakhouse salad, the grilled chicken mandarin salad, and the bourbon steak entree! The prices are very reasonable and food was delicious every time. We especially recommend the Guiness brownie dessert to anyone who stops in! Thank you to everyone who took care of our family during our stay! We are so grateful!

Second visit here, food is great and atmosphere is nice. Service is also just as fine! My second time round I had the corn beef sandwich which was quite tasty! I also had some of the Guinness brownie also very good! I had ordered it to go and it’s rare to see a restaurant pack to go desert items separately so nothing melted at all!

I have been to Park Lane many times and really enjoy both the atmosphere and the food. The atmosphere is akin to many nice pubs and restaurants I have been to in the NE and Canada. The food is really good, with their fish-n-chips being the best I have had in Virginia. And so this January, we approached them and asked if they could create take out dinner for us that we would use as part of a Burns Supper for 10 people. They did not make the haggis (I made it), BUT they did a smash up job on the shepherd’s pie, salad, scotch egg, and cranachan!
