My daughter & I were looking for a black owned restaurant to dine in & decided to try Park Vue. We were pleasantly surprised & glad we chose them. The food was amazing, the fish had a perfect crisp , melted in my mouth. The owner served us, giving great service, she made sure we were satisfied. I had the pleasure of meeting this awesome woman today. Ms. Schenita and her family own Park Vue Soul Food Restaurant in Buffalo, NY. She not only owns this restaurant but works in the Buffalo school district as a teacher! The food here is delicious and the service is great! You will find this restaurant tucked right into the local neighborhood, which adds to its feeling of home. First time coming here and it was fire . Upon arrival parking was packed but also it is located on dead end street I called and place 2 orders of chicken breast with baked Mac and cheese and candied yams when I came to pick it up I had to wait an extra 15 min but it was well worth the wait. My order came out so fresh and tasty also the owner taught my daughter and niece so that is also a plus great teacher and great food. I also tried their passion fruit slushie drink and loved it. I would definitely recommend. Will be back soon.

First and foremost, the food was good. I will not front on that at all. Like the food was soooo good! Secondly, I like to be comfortable while I’m eating and last, but not least good customer service always makes me happy. It was so hot inside of there. It didn’t make any sense. the line was out the damn door. They literally had no air conditioning at all. I was hungry and already standing in line so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt upon being seated. The owner came and made an announcement saying that this is a Buffet and that you can’t take any food with you when you leave, however, there was no signs anywhere posted saying that it was a Buffet or anything like that so I would say it’s false advertisement if you ask me. Not one time did any of the servers ask us how we were doing or if we needed anything. The entire 23 minutes that I was sitting there I was angry because the food was so good, but I could not enjoy it the way that I wanted to because I had to sit there and constantly fan myself with a empty plate. I asked for the fan to be turned on that was near me and do you know these people said that if they turn the fan on it’s going to blow a fuse in the entire building? Like seriously that’s ghetto as hell for you to charge people $38 upon entry for a “buffet style experience”with no air conditioning, no drinks but WATER in the “buffet” area and no real customer service is beyond me. I swear on Jesus sandals and all his disciples. I will never spend a damn quarter in this establishment again! I mean that’s not at least until I hear stories about how cool and comfortable it is on the inside. To be sweating while you’re eating but the food is not spicy is not what I like to get into! so overall, I’m giving this one star! very ghetto wouldn’t recommend!!

We had a 7pm reservation and we received our fires 2 hours later. It took about 45 minutes to get water, therefore my son had to go and get us water. We were told they only have 2 fryers, which tells us that they are not prepared for indoor seating. They should stick with door dash orders. The fish was great, but the rear was not. The greens were soaked in water and the candy yams as well. You can see the picture of the juice from the greens in the cup. I appreciate what they are trying to do and I wish them the best, but we won’t be back.

I’m 2 years pescatarian& I absolutely love it here. The wait is sometimes long due to it being a small family owned business& the demand because the food is so good. If you like soggy fish go else where Lol this is not the place. My fish is crispy every time just like I like. If you’re impatient, go elsewhere. Everything on the menu tastes amazing. Worth the wait. The ambience is even nice, a modern back in the day feel.. fit for the name park vue SOUL -Nay.

Great food, Mac n Cheese mouth watering the corn bread was so soft and delicious. This is a gem in Buffalo! The staff were so friendly. Had to wait a bit long, but it was worth every minute. Parking is tricky bc its on a dead end street. I will definitely be back. Unselfishly I recommended this place bc it lives up to its name!!

One of the best meals my wife and I had in quite a while. Chicken and catfish were perfectly seasoned and fried. The sides were excellent – wife said the potato salad was the best she ever had and our other sides (collard greens, Mac & cheese, fries, cornbread) were great. One of owners greeted us at our table and was incredible friendly. Frozen drink was delicious. Small place, simple but nicely decorated. Nice atmosphere – we joked with the table next to us.

Looking for some good soul food and remembered a friend telling me about Park Vue so I decided to drive all the way across town to try it out. Well worth my drive time. The food was about as close to my momma’s cooking as could be. Prices were good, service was excellent as the staff were friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back!!!
