Dined at Parkside with a large party tonight. (15 people. We called ahead, and they appreciated the advance call.) The server was excellent. Happily took our orders split by check, even though we were scattered across several tables. Food arrived promptly, even though we were a large group.

A very nice small town resturant. Both the wife and I had their version of a club Sandwich. And we were both very pleased. They used what looked like freshly carved turkey. Onion Rings werr good but a little more temp to the oil would have reduced the lingering grease. I did not go into the Lounge but the resturant was clean and orderly. Staff was friendly and attentive. Yhe lunch and dinner menu are small but that fits a resturant that knows their foods. If you get a chance give them a try.

There’s one of these in every big-ish town down the coast i noticed. They have big menu and a nice window view of the beach here. The clam chowder wasn’t that great, the burgers are small and my salad was kind of sad looking with lettuce that was not fresh at all. The ranch and blue cheese dressing was good. My daughter got the chicken strips and they were pretty good however she asked for bbq sauce and was served a plate with ranch. She doesn’t like ranch. The 2 crazy guys that went out in the wind and 48 degree weather and hopped in the ocean was a bonus. The one has skinish colored short so it looked like he wasn’t wearing pants . Service was ok too.

Our waitress went above and beyond to try to cheer up my niece, who was obviously having a rough morning. Honestly, she was one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. She was the only waitress and they were starting to get really busy but she was just so nice to everyone and didn’t seem stressed out.

Very nice and sweet server. I had a Dr. Pepper, that tasted off. So I ordered a diet coke, it also tasted off, possibly a knock off syrup used. I ordered the burger, with cheese only, nothing else. The food came out and my burger had all of the toppings, mayo on top bun, some dressing on bottom bun. I brought it to her attention and said they would fix it. I got it back in a couple of minutes. They had just scraped off the toppings, and did not change the now mayo and dressing soaked buns. I had to use quite a bit of napkins to remove as much of the sauces and veggies left on the burger. I put Ketchup on my plate and dipped a fry in. The Ketchup tasted watered down, and the fries were gross. I took a bit of my burger, it was disgusting! It comes with 2 patties, both were identical shape, aka frozen. The taste also indicted the same. I took it up to the server with the mound of napkins I used to wipe it off. Told her politely that it tasted like it was frozen and didn’t taste good. She said she would take it off the bill, and told me I could pick a dessert on the house. The kitchen staff should not have given me the same buns. Everything tastes bland and straight from the freezer. Besides the bad food and kitchen staff. The waitress was very sweet!

Been coming here for years and years! The staff is always amazing and friendly. It’s super clean, including the bathrooms. Dining room, bar area with fireplace and a patio with some cover too! The chowder here is some of the best, and I tell everyone about it. Rainy day chowder and a slice of pie? Yes please!!! The other “famous chowder place” has nothing on Parkside.
