Just had a terrible experience today that has caused me to change my review. Today was a customer, I was given untoasted bread for toast. Had to chase down butter, syrup, coffee refills everything etc. Only half my food was bright to the table and it was cold by the time the rest of the food arrived. And the had the nerve to charge for a slice of cheese to go on some eggs.

Really bad experience. I wanted to give this place a chance since i grew up in the neighborhood but that was a mistake. I ordered the gyro and when it came out, the meat was from a can, fries were frozen and you can tell nothing is fresh. I asked them to take it back and ordered a cheese burger instead. Same thing, you can tell it was not fresh at all. I couldnt even eat. Its dissapointing considering the prices are high when you get all frozen food thats tastes like its from the grocerie store. Waitress was kind and understanding but i felt bad because when she told the manager, the manager was rude to her about it and we could tell she was upset i asked for a something else. The manager didnt even come and check on us and just sat there on her phone at a table and folding silverware. Very uncomfortable enviroment and do not recommend. If you want an amazing breakfast/ lunch place, try westies cafe on lowell.

I just love this place. Never been to the restaurant yet. But order from here on doordash. I always look at other places but never order from them. I always come back to Parkways Diner and order breakfast from them. Thank you for the great service and amazing food.

First time here today. Excellent service, great food and an overall wonderful experience. Family owned restaurant with a lot of love. I ordered the Hungry Man Breakfast and it was huge for the price! Bacon is crispy and not greasy, eggs were cooked exactly how I like them, sausage was hot and tasty, pancakes tasted like heaven and the hash browns smothered in the yummy pork green chile…let’s just say WOW. Fresh potatoes cooked perfectly. Owners are very friendly and greet you. Waitress was super nice! She checked on us often and made sure we loved every minute of our new experience! We will definitely be returning!

Had breakfast Wednesday 7/5 the waitress was great however the breakfast I ordered was one of the worst I’ve had in a long time tasted burnt…and the pancakes not so good either….normally the food is very good don’t know what was going on ☹️

The smell of sewer water and mildew was a bit much. I tried to block it out and just appreciate a good meal from a greasy spoon, but my steak was spoiled. Does anyone’s nose function there? Definitely a hard pass!
