Pizza was pretty good, but outrageously overpriced and small. A 14” pizza came out to $25. With 3” of crust, the stinginess with toppings, and how thin it was, it’s essentially an 8-10” personal pizza that feeds one person for $25. That’s absurd. Even if it cost half as much, I would still question if I got my money’s worth. At $25, I honestly feel like I was taken advantage of and played for a fool.

I called in a pickup order, was told it would take 20 minutes. 20 minutes later I show up, and as I stand there, my order apparently just hit their system and printed the ticket. I get that they just opened and these things happen, they were very apologetic and told me it would be another 15 minutes. I left and came back another 20 minutes later, and they had to go get the pizza from the kitchen as it had just finished, only to find out it was not the pizza I had ordered. Somehow my order of the Five Boroughs had turned into a build your own pizza with pepperoni and sausage? At this point I was hungry so I just accepted it, paid, and left. The two hostesses seemed a little distraught with the chaos their system was causing them.

I placed an order online. It was supposed to be ready at 12:25. I got there at 12:35. The guy said “it’s still in the kitchen, it’s gonna be about 10 minutes still.” That I wouldn’t have minded, but being on lunch with limited time kinda sucks. But the pizza itself was some of the best pizza I have had. Minimal grease. I didn’t feel like I needed to wash my face after eating it. Crispy crust and soft on the inside! Perfect.

Denver’s not a pizza town. Apologies to you natives who think otherwise. That said, Parry’s is a pleasant surprise. Good solid pizza; thin and crispy, good undercarriage, and a proper ratio of sauce and cheese. I’ll definitely order again for delivery.
