Worst service I’ve experienced in a long time. Real bummer because I’ve been looking forward to trying this restaurant for so long. My partner and I made reservations for Kitchen choice under the assumption that we would get a nice portion of the tasting menu overall and a decent table. We were insteadwedged right by the entrance door.It took 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us once we were seated and a whopping 40 minutes for our first drinks to come. They were very busy which I usually try to understand, but we watched as larger tables came and went, properly attended to and wined & dined. Our reservation was at 7 and we finally asked for the dessert to go at 10pm. Food was great, but portions absolutely ridiculous for $50 a person. One slice of cheesecake? I mean really? Disappointing and probably won’t ever go back, there’s just too many good restaurants in Eugene to risk that treatment again.

Let me start by saying it is a fun experience. It is fun to not know what you will taste next. It would have been way more fun if the food was enjoyable and didn’t leave us literally puking. They accommodated me because I don’t eat pork. The food was bland or just straight fishy tasting. The best things were the things they gave us off the bar menu. I do not recommend. The server was nice a did a great job. I have posted all the dishes we got.

Stopped by for our first time since they re-opened this side. We’ve been to Party Bar many times since they opened last year and had done Party Downtown a few times before that but it was our first time doing a full meal in the dining room for quite a while. It did not disappoint after the wait.

I can’t say enough good things about Party Downtown (and all the Party establishments). Their food is exceptional. Their staff is kind, accommodating, and really cares for the community. Their cocktails are out of this world. I really appreciate how everything they make is thoughtful, well made, and above all, DELICIOUS.

This place was amazing. Asked to have the chef just bring out food. And we got eight courses that were mouth wateringly delicious. It’s a great place to bring a date. I am most def going back next time I’m in Eugene.

We had the tasting menu and wine pairing. Delicious, beautiful, and elegantly paces celebration of local, seasonal, organic, scrumptious fare.

Had a lovely evening here having drinks and dinner with friends. I had the Smoked Beet Salad which was really good. My friends had burgers which they said were good. Drinks were good and very photogenic.

One of my favorite dining experiences ever! I can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend the multi-course prix fixe menu. It’s wonderful. We didn’t want seafood with ours, so you can just let them know if you have any dietary restrictions. Then, simply brace yourself for all the surprising explosions of flavor that come your way. I also got the drink pairings, but I think this was an unnecessary luxury (I felt like the pours weren’t generous enough, and waited too long for each drink). Especially after trying the delicious cocktails my husband was having, I think I might have preferred to just have chosen my own drinks. This was a small point in an otherwise delightful experience. And the dessert we had–warm chess pie with banana caramel ice cream–was out of this world!!!

Our friends who live in Eugene brought us to Party for dinner on our first night in town. We had a delightful tasting menu that included a salmon preparation that will remain with me for the rest of my life. Great wine selection (and a very knowledgeable sommelier in one of their co-owners) and a nice atmosphere. I hope to go back next time I’m in Eugene!
