Out of the way place with old time dive feel. Great fish and fries. Not my kinda slaw with vinegar base. Very cold beer with large selection. Would highly recommend. Large crowd already at 5pm on a Friday. Only caution would be the fish breading has pepper in it and I know some people just don’t like pepper.

Went just before the dinner. The place was packed in a matter of minutes. I ordered cheese sticks that were typical bar food. We ordered two fish dinners. Fish and fries were good and the fish was a huge piece. I didn’t care for the potato salad and my husband said the coke slaw wasn’t good. That being said they are tiny portions anyway. I did enjoy the fish and fries but may be just a tad expensive. I would go back if I were in the area for fish and fries.

Food. [Passtime Platter, Cod fish plate, Frog legs] Seasoned to our liking. Light on the salt. Subtle notes of lemon and pepper. Lightly breaded and crispy. The remaining grease was soaked in by the bread. You receive tartar and cocktail sauce, which has a nice horseradish kick. Coleslaw wasn’t saturated in dressing, always appreciated, however a little sweet.

Having moved here from MB, SC, I’m always looking for good seafood. This place was recommended by someone who saw an ad but had never eaten here either. I checked out their menu and saw oysters and also onion straws. I love both. I order oysters, and I’m informed they are out. It’s only 2pm. Then, I order Onion straws. They are out. I settle for the fried shrimp. The shrimp were done perfectly but the batter they were prepared in was very spicy. I wanted to taste the shrimp, not all that spice. I ate three and gave the rest to my friend’s daughter. The Corona was good. I think the guy taking our order was comatose. Lesson learned. I’ll keep going to The Fish House for my oysters.

This was my first visit to PassTime and I will definitely be back… it is CASH ONLY but they do have an ATM inside… my buddy got the fish sandwich and I got the shrimp po boy… the fish sandwich was big and looked delicious – he was very happy with it. The Po Boy was ok – not great but not terrible. Fries were good, nice beer selection and everything is priced perfectly and the ambiance is second to none. They also have outside seating. Highly recommend but definitely get the fish sandwich!

Ordered two shrimp Po’boys and they brought them out on hot dogs buns. With my mother being from Louisiana that was a shock. Paid over $30 and didn’t even get a refill on my drink, plus its cash only FYI.

My wife and myself walked in when the door just opened. We were the first customers to enter. Another couple was behind us and we ordered at the same time. I got a fish sandwich and she ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. It took almost an hour to get our food. Several other customers after us had already gotten their food and we were still waiting. They said it was because my wife ordered a chicken sandwich and it took longer. 55 minutes later our food arrived and we complained and took it as carry out and went home.

Man I wish I had photos to show why it got 2 stars but I don’t. Fish was good and only that. The chicken livers gave my husband the runs, loaded fries were microwaved for a little too long. Place is dirty there’s a hole near the kitchen with a bunch of dust and trash you will not miss it at all it’s black and just dusty. The coleslaw was sticky which we ended up finding out could mean it’s been sitting there for a fat minute and smelled rotten. We tried it out because someone recommended this place and the fish is good but the rest is crazy no wonder there’s only old people in there, they no longer have working tastebuds and must think it’s good.
