First of all this place was great, the atmosphere was bomb, the vibe made me feel so at home. The staff were friendly and helpful, very patient. The food was nice, hot and fresh with lots of flavor. We were visiting Miami for a week and it’s some of the best food we came across we doubled back on our way back home for seconds! First time we got shrimp & grits, fried pork chops and all that, second time we got chicken, smothered liver and onions, they’re menu has plenty of options, if we lived in Miami this would be our go to! Bring one to my hometown please!

When calling in to place a order you will be place on hold for, forever while they talk to the people they work with. Not only that they just put the phone down and keep taking orders as if your not on the phone waiting to place your order. It’s sad because it’s that place has been around for years and the young folks are not making it thrive due to attitudes while placing customers on hold and talking to co-workers.

It’s the service that makes me get take out. Here & there you may get a decent server but for the most part rude. They don’t greet you say thank you when you pay they seem to have an attitude early in the morning. That’s no way to start your day. Food is good.
