It is a smal mom and pop shop. Good atmosphere, but small foot print. The prices are stellar, great value. They even have a frozen take home option as well as party box options. All and all a stellar place that is a throw back to easier times.

WEVE LIVED ACROSS THE STREET FROM PASTRY KITCHEN. FOR 3 YEARS. FIRST TIME HERE AND OMG WOW SO GOOD. WE BOUGHT THE LARGE BEEF FILLED PASTRY AND ITS SO GOOD AND THE BEEF GRAVY IS OUT OF THIS WORK DELICIOUS. ID HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE , THE COOK THE PASRY FRESH. The meat pies are perfectly cooked, out of the oven and in your hands extremely fast. Chicken or beef are the two options same is available for gravy and fresh made chocolate chip cookies. One sammy one was enough to fill me but I purchased 2 so the other was half eaten before I was totally stuffed. Only down I can say is they seem a little under spiced. But price is perfect and both staff folks were very polite and helpful.

I have been going here for years. The pasties are unbelievable. I used to live around the northern great lakes, and these meat pies originated there many years ago when the coal miners would take these tasty meat pies down in the mines with them. The Pasty Kitchen makes them just like they are still made and are so delicious. I was shocked to find a place that made these here in the west!! You have to try these

Went there 8/15/23 been going for many many years I eat there at least 3-4 times a month the chicken and the chicken gravy was very bad bought two chicken pies could not finish one threw the other away sad, cause they really where doing GREAT as new owners VERY nice people and service I don’t believe it them I really believe it’s where they are getting their food from because it didn’t taste spoiled it just didn’t taste right and the gravy the potato salad was good perhaps they need to taste it before they put it out to the public cause their gonna loose customers I’m gonna try it again maybe couple weeks or months and if still taste nasty I will not go there again, my stomach can’t handle it honestly my body wouldn’t let me swollow another bite I’m so sorry Pasty Kitchen, I see you guys make it the same as previous owners perhaps change where you buy your product from………

They are a simple kitchen making simple food and very simple people who are professional in taking your order. The food is great for lunch and kids because they are handheld and easy to eat. I love their gravy, and love how they have other things other than their pastries. Every time I visit my doctor here in Los alamitos, this is the first place I go to for lunch after a long wait in the clinic. I’ve been coming here before my kids were born about 10 years.
