Love Pat and Fran’s!! Good food, good prices, comfortable atmosphere and an amazing server, Molly! She is super friendly, attentive but not hovering, and she always remembers our usual orders even with we haven’t been here for awhile. Everything we have eaten here is good, but recommend their Mac n Cheese, especially their Irish Mac.

Today is National Mac and Cheese day so of course I went to Pat & Fran’s in Coralville. Our waitress was Molly who’s always been great & she remembered what we both like to drink and eat. We enjoy her every time we go and today was more of her same smile and wonderful service. She & her personality are a great bonus whenever she’s working she adds to a great experience. GO MOLLY!!!

Molly is awesome! I’m out here from Wyoming we came in for a company lunch, loved it so much we came back again and she remembered what all of us were drinking! The food is spectacular, prices are awesome. If you are looking for a good lunch apothecary for fantastic service, awesome prices, and a fantastic atmosphere I highly reccomend this superb pub! Their outdoor seating is perfect on top of the amazing indoor options!

First time visit. The music was low enough you could have a conversation and it’s so hard to find that, that I had to lead with that. However, everything else was also 5 star worthy. Molly was our server and very friendly and helpful. We had bangers & mash and a breaded pork tenderloin with fried red potatoes. Despite the fact I was sure they had burnt the potatoes, they were heavenly. It was like eating fried mash potatoes – I now have yet another way to eat potatoes.

We went here later on a Sunday night and we were greeted almost instantly. Food selection was good and prices were reasonable. I was impressed with their vegetarian options. Our server, Brayton, was very friendly and personable. My husband had the pork tenderloin which was huge and really good. My daughter and I split the avocado rueben and Mac and cheese. Both were very good. Just an all around good experience. Highly recommend!

Have been to P&Fs about 5 times. My first visit had me raving about the Avocado Reuben and I chose red potatoes to go with it. Excellent! Since then, have had various experiences there with burned toast and tonight got the fried avocado instead of julienned, which isn’t nearly as good. I guess I have to pay more attention when I order, but it would help if the wait staff would ask how I like the avocado prepared. I will be back with a specific order. Tip: the fries are the best side. Good strawberry cider.

This place is the right size, a great location, awesome portions, and all around delicious food. If you haven’t tried their food and you’re in the Coralville area, then you are missing out. The service was great and very quick, and our server Molly was a rock star! I look forward to coming back in.

Getting screamed at by bingo numbers drove me away. Service was good, food was good, beer selection was too American not Irish, and was a basic bar setting not a tradition pub feel at all. Ears are still ringing from bingo.

I just found my new favorite restaurant to get ruebens from. My partner got the Mac and cheese with corned beef, Swiss and peas, I got the Reuben with fries (essentially whole potatoes sliced, but bent in half as they were fried). Also got 2 appetizers. I feel bad, I forgot was the larger ones were, but the ruebetons were AMAZING. Basically mini ruebens in a wonton shell. Served with a rueben sauce to dip in.
