Patchwork is located on the second floor of the Hyatt Centric in the City Center area of Philadelphia. We picked up some snacks there when we first checked in and then had breakfast there the next morning. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was excellent, the food was good but not memorable. The weekend brunch buffet could use some improvements to its offering as it was pretty light on options. With all that being said, it is nice to have a neat little restaurant located in this hotel to stop by for food and drinks if you’re staying at the Hyatt Centric.

I didn’t expect much but the food and service were more than average. We could enjoy fresh and perfectly cooked sandwiches with fresh orange juice. The croissant beignets were very great!!!

Came here for drinks and a late dinner last weekend and had a nice experience! The ambiance was wonderful & cozy, and you’d never know it was in a hotel. The food was amazing – we ordered the lobster tagliatelle, orecchiette, and the pork chop which were all absolutely delicious. We also ordered the burratta toast which salty and perfectly balanced. Giving 4 stars because the drinks are a bit over priced for Philly in my opinion, I’ve never seen an old fashioned for $18. They also brought one member the wrong drink, despite it being a pretty quiet evening in the restaurant. Overall a nice experience, I would definitely recommend coming for the food!

Melissa was our waitress, and took good care of us. Instead of venturing out to the busyness of Philly, we stayed in – and dined local. We had the steak frites and Escarole Salad with Chicken. The food was good. The service was great. Very chill peaceful eating experience

Service for breakfast is very slow. I had to leave as the coffee never came and didn’t get to order yet. I don’t blame the server/cashier. The hotel needs more than one person to take care of guests that want to eat breakfast.

We got a salad and sandwich to go. The food was terrible. The sandwich bread was so dry I couldn’t eat it. The salad croutons were so hard that they were not edible. I was surprised at the quality of the food because it was very pricey. Maybe dine in food is better. Terrible. ♀️

Great restaurant located in the Hyatt Centric. You do not have to stay at the Hyatt to enjoy it.

I really wish the food was a bit better. The steak was not cooked to the temperature we asked for but still tasted okay. The atmosphere was great and the service was as well. Only grip was on the open table I made a reservation and said it was our anniversary but no one seemed to care or was aware. We walked in and were told just to sit anywhere. Not sure why open table has that option if it’s not going to be used.

Ate here several times while staying at the hotel and was quite pleased each time. Food was fresh and seasonal, served quickly and with excellent service. Would return and recommend.

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. We knew the food would be amazing since we’ve eaten food from the same chef in the past. That did not disappoint! The menu is short but everything we tried, and we tried a lot on the menu, was delicious! I had an espresso martini and it may have been one of the best espresso martini is I’ve ever had. They use cold brew in it rather than Kahlua and baileys like most other places. The staff was very nice to us and the ambiance is beautiful! Can’t wait to go back to try the next seasonal menu!
