Traveling and found Patio 44. We thought they had an interesting menu, and it looked great. We were extremely disappointed. We arrived and were seated inside at a table with something wet all over it. We were ignored for about ten minutes. Someone finally wiped off table. Five more minutes or more our server took drink orders and we eventually ordered the pimento cheese fritters and they were delicious. That’s the only good thing we had. Duck strips were rubber, Nachos were bad. The chips were fried in bad oil and/or, not fresh. The flavors on top of the chips, not good. Our server was about the worst we have had in a long time. She was cute and friendly but we had to flag her down for anything. Save your time and money.

Patio 44 is always my go-to, I went with my partner yesterday afternoon for a pre-movie lunch. Generally, the hostess is really professional, warm, welcoming— something that matches the setting. However, whoever hosted Monday afternoon just yelled, “Y’all come on!” from the patio. It was…off, but the food has always been wonderful so we still came in. She never asked for party size, she just told us to sit down somewhere, so we chose the back wall. The only highlight was Chloe, our server. She was fantastic. There was something floating in my partner’s drink, she handled it well. My partner asked if the highlighted meals were fan favorites & Chloe wasn’t sure, that’s 100% not her fault, but it’s a good idea to know your menu though. She’s been there a month, no biggie. Food was good, until we got to the end of the side of fries and there was hair on the bottom of the plate. That was gross. Chloe got it off the ticket, and she did amazing handling it. The entire visit was really disappointing, honestly. There was a lot of gross things happening that should not have. Honestly, after the hair in fries, we didn’t see the movie because I was really grossed out. I know things happen, but quality checking should be full force whether the restaurant is full or not. Doubt I’ll be back after this.

I was planning on ordering the shrimp and grits, but the table next to us ordered before us, and when their food came out…. I had to order the catfish and grits, I ordered an additional side of spinach, and it was amazing. I also ordered one of their house cocktails. The one with gin and elderflower. All of it was just delicious.

First time at Patio 44. Nice restaurant for casual dining. Wide variety in menu to suit any taste. Alfredo pasta with shrimp was super good. Others had burgers they said were good and a shrimp po boy rated good but not great. The homemade onion rings were a don’t miss. Great server. Good outing.

We’re pescatarian and we’re excited to try this place. I really liked my BBQ salmon, but my partner thought the fried catfish and grits itself didn’t have enough flavor, though she didn’t eat it with the gravy that contained sausage. Service was really nice though, we may try something else next time.

After 12 hours in the car we found this spot next to our hotel what a hidden gem. Everything we had was delicious too bad we don’t live near this restaurant it would be one of our regulars. Jayjay said his crawfish étouffée was absolutely delicious and he grew up farming Crayfish so he’s somewhat of an expert. Waitress was super friendly and the place was very clean can’t say a bad thing about it.

Wonderful service and beautiful seating outside but the food was not good at all. We ordered the crawfish nachos and it was fried flour tortillas cut up in triangles. Would have been much better on corn chips. The crab cakes were very salty! Loved everyone that worked there but the food was underwhelming.

It’s ok. Service is very friendly. Apps and food came close together. I ordered a NY Strip rare and it came very medium. Flavor was, again, “ok.” My wife said the same about the salmon. Price was good. I might come back..depends. They were on open table and had an opening when we needed one.
