I was a single party looking for a quaint place with outdoor sitting and Patois fit the bill. The staff was attentive and welcoming. The flavoring for their dishes was excellent and the portions were perfect for me. I will say that I prefer when there is free bread for the table but other than that, enjoyed it and would recommend!!

Food was good. I made a note with the reservation that it was a birthday and requested a surprise dessert… nothing came. So that was a let down.

My meal at Patois was okay. I started with the Fried Cauliflower which was good and very filling! My meal consisted of the Gnocchi and Five Spice Duck Confit Leg Salad. The Gnocchi was a bit weird to me. I typically love crab but the crab flavor wasn’t good at all. Now the Duck Leg Confit Salad was everything!! Everything about it was perfect! It had an Asian flavor to it and was so fresh and flavorful. I’d definitely return for that dish alone. My table thought that the cocktails were terrible across the board. Patois should taste the drinks and rethink the recipes. Or it’s possible that the bartender was off that night. Either way, we were disappointed. Also worth noting, parking is on the street and I suggest avoiding the restroom. It was clean, but soooo tiny and hard to move around without bumping against things.

Too many great choices. Planning a return trip to taste more dishes. Potato gnocchi is light fluffy and extraordinary. Apple galette a la mode alone is Wort three trip.

This place is hitting on all cylinders. It had been quite awhile since my last visit, and while I have always held Patois in high regard, I was not prepared for just how excellent it would be in every respect. I had the two specials (appetizer and entree), and each was flawless. Our server was friendly, and the service was efficient but not rushed. A true 5-star experience!

Patois is excellent. I had a drink which was well balanced and refreshing. We had a vegetarian, pescatarian and omnivore in our group. The egg plant parmesan was one of the best we have had. The cheesy soup was layered, and flavorful. My fish was cooked perfectly and the sweet potato, pecans, and sauce worked perfectly with the fish. My daughter’s shrimp dish was also excellent. we sadly didn’t leave room for dessert. So we will have to be back soon.

Maybe my expectations were a little too high but I found the food just average. My husband had oysters au gratin and said it tasted very good but there were very little oysters in the dish itself. Apparently it was the first time that dish was on the menu.
