Delicious bbq chicken pizza & cheese bread. It was very busy in the restaurant so we went for takeout. It took 20 minutes to get our order. The price is reasonable. One of the best pizza in the city!

Wanted to like this place, the service was great, ambiance as well. There were a good number of people and good music. Unfortunately we stopped to grab a quick bite, figured we would share a pizza. Asked for half buffalo half cheese…it was mistaken for full buffalo and half without cheese. Took a while which is fine since it means they make to order but I was the one looking to eat cheese and was disappointed. We didn’t have enough time to have them remake it which they did offer to do. We ended up taking longer than expected here and delaying our dinner plans, luckily the restaurant we were going to was able to accommodate later reservations.

One would expect Pat’s Pizza establishment to sell Pizza, wings, and sandwiches. Most people come to Maine in the summer for the beauty, eat lobster, and enjoy the outdoors. Pat’s Pizza is probably not on the list of places for a tourist, but the one located in Bar Harbor, Maine, is unique! The vibe when you walk in is relaxed. The island music is fitting for summer. A young Jamaican couple owns this pizza shop, and it’s open year-round (I think they just acquired it). We were incredibly grateful because only a few places were available for dining in Bar Harbor when we visited this April. The couple incorporates authentic Jamaican cuisine. You can still get Pizza, but there’s variety. I had the best jerk oxtail, beans, and rice in years! It was so good that I ordered a take-home. The cocktail menu was authentic. The rum is from Jamaica, so it’s great. They do an excellent job of mixing their drinks, so it stays balanced. Our daughter is picky when it comes to food. Pizza is one of the few foods she’d eat. She finished a small pi of Pizza, which never happens. They offer catering for birthdays and weddings too. The only thing is it could be more spacious on the inside. It’s not a “hole in the wall.” They have seating areas for families and a bar area, outdoor seating, but it will only seat a small group comfortably (probably up to 15 people inside). I recommend this place 100%. They’re very kind, and the service was excellent. The food was fantastic!

Food was good, atmosphere was ok, we happened to come in on a night where it sounded like they were doing karaoke, but they sat us in a room that was separate from the bar and karaoke area which was nice to have available. Food was ok, pricing was much better then some of the other restaurants in town. We did wait quite some time for someone from the wait staff to come and take our drink orders after being seated initially.

We enjoyed Pats Pizza of Ellsworth so much we wanted to return but it’s closed on Sunday. Since we were already planning a trip to Bar Harbor we decided to try this location. I’m sorry to say, it’s just not the same. Everything inside the restaurant looks very nice except for the restroom, it’s in strong need of some repairs or a remodel. The greeting staff was friendly and everything was great until our waitress came and that’s when the visit soured a bit. She was rushing us to place an order and I hadn’t even made it to the table yet (needed to wash my hands first – hence the restroom comment). Once we made our decision, ordered and ate our food, packed up and ready to go she disappeared!! It wasn’t like the restaurant was busy. I could see everyone coming in through the door. We waited what seemed like forever and she finally shows up with the check in hand not even asking if we needed anything else, tossed it on the table and left again. I could see if they were short staffed but again, there wasn’t anyone in there but us at this time. Basically we’re not returning there but we will return to the Ellsworth location.

The pizza was mediocre and breadsticks weren’t soft. Also got calzones and the veggies weren’t cooked, and they weren’t even sealed shut! Had no flavoring whatsoever. Very disappointed with the quality of food and not sure how they’re still in business

Pizza was very small even for the large, crust was super thin, and not a lot of toppings. Prices way too high for what you got. Milk we ordered came warm and they put ice in it to cool it down. We asked about that and they said “it’s fine” and walked away. We did not drink it. Chicken tenders and fries were okay.

Pretty great pizza joint. We got a small cheese and a large “Super Veggie”. Our plan was to get the pizza and drive it up Cadillac Mountain, but that plan didn’t work out. The pizza was cold by the time we started to eat it, it was still really good. The crust was perfectly done and there was a generous amount of cheese on there. I was impressed with the Super Veggie; sometimes pizza places either add too many veggies or have them dry up in the oven. I could really taste the veggies and it paired well with the cheese.

My husband and I ate ordered the garlic cheese bread, super veggie, and Pat’s and all were great! The garlic bread wasn’t very garlicky but was made well otherwise. We visited after Columbus Day, so many restaurants were closed. We were so happy to find this neighborhood pizza spot that was still serving customers. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. Would come back again!:

We ate inside here for lunch. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. Our only complaint was when eating inside the music they had playing in there was so loud we couldn’t even hear ourselves talk at the table. You could feel the music like you were in a nightclub. Normally I wouldn’t mind but it was way too loud especially for that time of day in a pizza place. Nobody was even at the bar. Just a couple of small groups at tables.
