Watch carefully so you don’t miss this gem. Stopped for lunch. Delicious pulled pork and crispy hand cut fries. Very reasonable priced. Friendly staff. We will definitely stop next time we are in the area!

Amazing. Right next to the Citgo gas station. Stopped for my birthday with my husband and two kids. The gentleman was really nice, we had the Brunswick stew (and my kids loved it). My Margarita was delicious and the BBQ sandwich was really good. Everything was fresh. He ended my birthday night on a really good note. I would definitely recommend his service and food to others. Thank you so much for a good meal and a good memory. We are from FL working over at Sassers Flea Market for the week, so this restaurant is an experience I will never forget.

Some of the best food I have ate anywhere, and we travel a lot! We are here in Cuthbert about once every month or every other month because of the hunting lease my husband is in. The Pumpkin Pancakes with the Cream Cheese Icing is to die for. The grilled Pork Chops are hands down the best I have had anywhere and would drive the 5 hour trip just for the pork chop. The owner and his staff make you feel at home and so welcome, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better place.

Great little place. Offers a yummy but small buffet or order from the menu. Daily specials at a great price. I eat from the buffet, which is a meat and 3 sides plus a roll or cornbread. All of it was good southern food. There’s a discount for active duty or veterans. The directions from Yelp take you to a cemetery so be sure to follow Google map instead.

Small place and looks a little “iffy.” But get a glimpse (or a whiff) of the meat smokers out back and you KNOW you want to eat here. Service was quick, wait staff listened to special requests and food was delicious. Meat was tender, sauces were yummy and sides were all good. Nice sized servings too. Between our table of 5, we tried all of the side dishes – the Brunswick stew, cole slaw, baked beans, sweet potato fries and salad bar – and all were really good. Owner is retired navy, gives discount to veterans. Was worth the detour. Google maps is wrong – it is next door to the bait shop and past the college driving on Hwy 82 away from Cuthbert.

Amazing BBQ and even better service! Veteran owned and operated. I’m prior Navy so I loved seeing all the Navy lingo on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want good service and great food.

Went into Cuthbert to check out Andrew College – this is just down the road from the campus and definitely worth the drive into town. Had a great BBQ sandwich lunch plate and nice conversation with the owner – very friendly place and good food.

Phenomenal service, authentic and delicious southern style breakfast. Anytime I come through Cuthbert I will definitely stop by to see Fred again at Patterson’s restaurant!

One of those little surprises you find traveling the back roads, we are still talking about how good the food was! Don’t judge it by the building! Great old time home cooked food, like eating at Grandma’s house!

The people are friendly, the food is tasty and the portions are a solid good deal for the money. I look forward to the next time I’m passing through the area so I can drop by for lunch again!
