Five Star rating but all the subdivisions show four stars… Curious. Nevertheless, it does deserve the five-star rating but with a few caveats. The food was excellent, save the pancakes. They were not light and fluffy and lacked flavor. It seems that the quality of a diner could alone be measured by the quality of their pancake. The homemade jam, homemade English muffin and asundry other items were delightful. The coffee was better than some I’ve paid for at far more expensive restaurants so, there’s that. Enjoy!

Canandaigua’s longest continuously operating restaurant. Our food was very good, especially the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes. Their coffee was pretty good too. The staff was very friendly and professional. Even though we got the last open table our food was served quickly, and our coffee was refilled promptly.

We have the breakfast burrito. With the food was good. The burrito was fried and very crunchy. The burrito whisker of dry with sour cream and salsa. The waitress was competent. She was not super attentive did not seem to be too friendly. She was not mean. Just not super friendly. The restaurant was very quaint and cute.

The perfect diner experience. Yes, there usually is a bit of a wait on the weekends but for good reason. Breakfast is on point, omelets, pancakes, homemade toast, etc. service is friendly and quick considering they usually have about 2 gals running the whole show, impressive.

Ordered Homemade corned beef hash with eggs and toast. Was expecting typical diner breakfast. The hash was not salty at all! I actually had to add some salt to it. I don’t think this was do to lack of quality, but actually thinking about customers. If you have high blood pressure, don’t be afraid to order here.
